The Candor is a Fast Passenger Ship, powered by 2 aft FTL motors. It is designed for passenger and crew comfort, with the vessel being small enough and shaped to have the entire vessel in the Pulse field effect during burns. It uses 100% Pulse Matching, meaning that the pulse field doesn't provide gravity. Instead, it uses a thruster mounted on the "bottom" of the vessel, directed radially out, to provide the acceleration for gravity. Because of this, it does travel with a center of thrust considerably higher than its boresight, different than some other FTL motors. This system allows a horizontal configuration, as opposed to a veritical configuration used in spaceships without pulse matching. It isn't designed to carry mass cargo.
The Candor has a single deck, with accomodation for 50 passengers and 10 crew. It has a central concourse with a modest cafeteria and entertainment options. Aft of the concourse is the engineering and machinery section, closed off to the accomodations. Outboard from the concourse are two parrelel hallways, running aft to fore, that house the cabins, 25 on each side. The cabins face inboard. Outboard of the cabins are two more hallways, seal off from normal entry, to provide a buffer and protection from breaches. Forward of the concourse is the crew quarters and bridge.
