I haven't read the Grisha Trilogy yet, but let me confirm that Six of Crows is absolutely amazing! The sequel (Crooked Kingdom) is also really good.

Anyways, here's some more that I liked:

  • Sylo by DJ MacHale
  • The Edge Chronicles by Paul Stewart
  • Simon vs. The Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli (If you like realistic fiction. The sequel "Leah on the Off Beat" is also really good).
  • Pendragon by DJ MacHale
  • Under My Skin by Charles DeLint
  • Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
  • The Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
  • I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga (I usually recommend this one to people who like staying up late and watching videos about serial killers on Youtube. It's pretty dark, but it's a good read if you're into that)
  • Maximum Ride by James Patterson (but only the first 3 books. It should have ended there and got kinda weird after that)
@ravens
  • The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
  • On second thought, any book by Marissa Meyer
  • The Lockwood & Co. series
  • Also Wendy Mass books
  • YOU WILL LOVE LITERALLY ANY BOOK BY JOHN GREEN («not an actual book title)

Turtles All The Way Down by John Green

Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss

LITERALLY ANY DISCWORLD NOVEL!!!!! (sorry about the all caps) Terry Pratchett is the author of that series and they have a few Discworld audiobooks on youtube, start with Mort and you will not be disappointed. They also have Kingkiller Chronicles on there too, Name Of The Wind is the first, then Wise Man's Fear, then The Slow Regard Of Silent Things.

Harry Potter by JK Rowling

And also, look up some fanfiction, there's some very good ones floating around the internet. Hope that helps! I can recommend more but those are a good start.

The Keepers of the Lost City

Dude I've been reading that! It's outside of what I usually read, so if it's totally cliche I have no idea. :P I like it.

I don't think it's cliche at all! (I luv Keefe… Keefe x Sophie! Who do you ship?)

@Masterkey

Dude… Keefe all the way! No offense to Fitz, but he is BOR-ING. And I just cannot accept his out-of-the-blue flirtiness with Sophie. Honestly he seems to be copying Keefe. XD

I just realized I haven't read book 6 yet! Is it good?

I know right! Fitz was like a brick the first two books, and while in the third he got alot better with the emtions, Keefe had already crept into our hearts and turned it into his playground fortress. And so there is no room for Fitz.
But I feel so sad for Dex 😂forever friendzoned! He's like a puppy you can't get rid of!
(I haven't read book six yet! But I know it's gonna be epic!)

@Masterkey

I knowww poor Dex… do you think he might end up with Bianca? Maybe??

person_off
Deleted user

Maybe, or Marella?

@Masterkey

Hmmm yeah… Well I guess we'll see. I love how detailed the world and plot are, it's pretty amazing how every book is taken to the next level of exciting every time.

I know right! (And I particularly like how beautiful everyone is. There's never "too much" for that)
I wonder what power is Sophie going to unlock next?

@Masterkey

Yeah her powers are one of the best parts of the story. But she barely uses them, I feel. I dunno, it kind of seems like the publisher is making her drag out the story to make more money? At least, that's how it felt in the last book.
