I Just Watched Avengers: Infinity War... Discussion (Spoiler Warning)

As the title suggests, I just watched Avengers: Infinity War. Who else saw it?

ITS SO GOOD AND I CRIED

I almost cried during the fist scene! It was so sad.

I know this is a lot to put on you guys but….this movie really made me wanna kill myself. I just saw it and…how can I enjoy this franchise any longer? Everyone is dead. And I know they'll be back. I know this. We all know this. And I'm not even mad that my favorite characters are dead. Thats not the point. It was a damn good movie, I will say that. But it was the worst comic book movie I've ever seen. It made Batman v. Superman look more upbeat. Maybe I'm just in a bad place in my life, and I will be the first to admit that I need to relax. After all, it's just a movie. But this movie took something from me. Something inside me genuinely died. It literally ruined the other movies for me. How can we have a fun, upbeat comic book movie after HALF THE POPULATION GETS WIPED OUT? I refuse to watch another Marvel movie that has nothing to do with Thanos. Until this gets reversed…I'm done.

Sorry, but I really needed to get that out of my system. 10/10, the movie was lit otherwise

Technically Thanos is her adoptive father but it was still so sad! I got super sad today thinking about it.

Okay I just gotta say… Thanos was a really impressive villain. He had NORMAL SPEAKING PATTERNS YAY and also CRIED it is good when we see villains being people-y. And also. Peter Parker. Hugging Tony Stark. Saying "Please. I don't wanna go." I DIED A LITTLE AND NOW I'M CRYING AGAIN FOR F*CKS SAKE

I CRIED SO FUCKING HARD DURING THE MOVIE ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. THE PART WHERE TEENAGE GROOT DIED WAS THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN FOR ME

I LEGIT SCREAMED WHEN I SAW BUCKY LIMP OVER AND BE LIKE "Steve…? Steve!" BEFORE DISAPPEARING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS BEST FRIEND AND PARENT ROCKET HAD TO WATCH HIS BABY GOOT DIE AGAIN IN FRONT OF HIM AND THERE'S NO COMING BACK FROM THAT ONE. I was surprised they also took King T'Challa out too, and Nick Fury. And what a Nick Fury way to go, cursing then dropping a thing and someone please answer me this…

WHAT WAS THAT SYMBOL ON THE DEVICE MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT EVER BEFORE AND WE THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS THE SHEILD LOGO BUT WE MIGHT BE WRONG WHAT WAS THAT SYMBOL?!?!

ok so i watched it and am about to go see it again and i have an idea about the people who are dead and stuff. i dont think theyre actually dead, but instead their souls are trapped in the gauntlet (i got this idea from child gamora at the end). the "dead" people will need to try to destroy thanos from the inside while the "alive" people will try to kill him from the outside. i havent put much thought into it yet but i think itd be pretty cool of that is actually true.

Just look at all the upcoming Marvel movies and you'll all feel better. Particularly me, who has Spiderman as her favorite all-time marvel character ever. Homecoming 2 is coming out in 2019
