I play on PC. I can barely Redstone to save my life, but I adore building castles and pretty houses and awesome things. And I only truly play Survival but I have a Creative testing world. Currently I'm playing an 'enhanced vanilla' mod called Nature's Beauty, but Vanilla will always be first in my heart.
I play it on xbox 360, and prefer to just build things/explore in creative mode. I like utilizing the game to help me visualize the layout and designs of towns and cities that appear in my writting.
I've been super tempted to build the buildings and towns in my Sci-fi to help figure out spacing and area and stuff. It would just take so long XD
Yeah, it does take a lot of time to build massive structures, towns, cities, etc. I'm currently building a hollow pyramid that covers the whole map!

I play on Xbox normally, but I just bought it for the PC last week. I love building, but I'm not very good at it, though I'm trying to get better. I like survival more because then it adds some challenge. I don't currently have any mods, though I want some.

It does help; instead of building an entire structure, I just build roofs of buildings, and label them.

I play on PS4 'cause I can't get it on my computer, I usually can't do redstone for crap without some sort of guide, so I do more building and whatnot, and I like Survival better but do go to play around in Creative. My brother and I like to go into textured worlds, build a bit, and then roleplay in them.

YUS. Omo I would play on that. I used to play on a server with my family but they rarely play anymore, but I haven't been adventurous enough to find another good server to play on.
I actually play on 3DS, believe it or not(it's pretty crappy but it's what I've got). I'm a builder for the most part, but the things I make always look better in my head. For the most part, I play Creative, but I also enjoy Survival. Except most of the time I go peaceful mode because I'm constantly scared to death of mobs. Vanilla's my main mode, but if I played PC, I think I'd get a few mods just because I like to spice it up sometimes.

I just got minecraft PC a few days ago. I had it on the Wii U, but then I sold the system and my games to get a switch, so I hadn't played it for a while.

Also: PC but use to play on my xbox and PE, builder because I can't even start with redstone for the life of me, creative mostly though I like survival sometimes for challenge. The only thing is skeletons on PC because I'm still adjusting to the controls compared to console or PE. I've only done vanilla, but I'd like to get some mods soon.

I am a full on PC player, I've played on the PC since maybe 2011? I don't actually remember the exact year, but I think that's it.
I guess I'm kinda both. I'm not the best builder and I think I am better at redstone than building, but I build a lot more often.
For singleplayer, I like survival better. It gives me more of a challenge, I am actually trying hardcore and I'm actually doing pretty well!
And last but not least, Vanilla all the way. Tbh I have never tried a mod, so I wouldn't know, but still…
I play PE, I'm adequate with Redstone, so any advice on that would be great!
Also, I know a few commands, but not much big stuff. I'll share if you want to know anything, or share if you know anything I might not!
I play on an XBox, I don't know anything about redstone except for minecarts. I love building things in legit vanilla survival because I feel so satisfied when I'm done

Survival mode definitely. Creative is only fun if you have a specific thing you want to build
