Hey y'all! I'm just in cliche mood! I'm guessing everyone knows this one too ;) The royal doesn't want to be royal, so they always leave the palace in disguise. One time that they do, they go into this shop (you can pick what type) and meet someone their age there. They end up talking, and eventually falling for each other. So anybody interested?
Royal x Commoner (closed)
I'm quite interested XD
Ooh yay! I was thinking of playing the royal but if you wanted it that'd be cool. Also do you want this to be girl x guy, girl x girl, or any others? I'm perfectly cool with anything but just know my character is a girl
Actually my character is gender fluid btw. Mostly female tho
What do you prefer? XD I could probably use some work with my guy characters since i'm a little rusty using them, but it's up to you
Guy works! I’ll put up a template soon unless you need any other info?

(Alright!)
Name: Audrianna Violette Emerson (Audi)
Age: 16
Gender: fluid, but most of the time female (so just assume she/her unless it says otherwise)
Sexuality: pansexual
Appearance: dirty blonde hair that curls to her waist (she wants to cut it so bad but her mom won’t let her) that’s normally up in braids; left eye is emerald green, right eye is black; fair skin and lots of freckles; about 5'4''
Personality: stubborn as hell; questions everything; very loud; despite her somewhat snarky and rude outward appearance, she really does love people and life; hates silence; fiercely loyal; holds grudges; doesn’t forgive easily
Clothes: mostly tunics with pants and boots; loves green and purple outfits; hates dresses, but for parties she’s forced to wear them. Normally has a circlet on (unless she’s sneaking away) that’s made of silver twisted with onyx, with emeralds and amethysts
Family: mother and father (King and Queen), twin brother- Calix, little sister- Indi
Background: Cali was born first, and therefore he’s in line for the throne, but Audi’s parents still wanted her trained to take over in case. But she absolutely does not want to be Queen, she’s perfectly happy with Cali being in charge. So she sneaks out a lot, visiting the town and the ocean and the forests and just getting out and seeing the world. She loves her siblings to death, and will do anything for them. She loves her parents too, but she’s just annoyed with them all the time. They just don’t understand the freedom she craves.
Other: love, love, LOVES to sing. Does it all the time. There’s hardly a time where you can’t find her humming.
Name: Maxwell (Max) Hammond

Personality: He has the air of a tough guy with a bit of flirtiness, but he can also be a sweet guy in private. He's deathly protective of his sister and will fight someone if they threaten someone he cares about. More tbd
Clothes: I'll figure this out
Family: A little sister and an older brother, along with his father (Mother passed away when they were young)
Background:
Other: his father runs a metalworking shop along with him and his brother
(Does he work?)
(Yeah I love him!!)
(Yay!! Can you start?)
(Yep! Gimme a sec)
(ok!)
Audi broke into a run, sprinting past the gardens and out of the castle walls. She didn't hear calling behind her yet, but she knew it would be coming soon. That thought pushed her to run faster, and she flew across the bridge connecting the castle to the rest of the kingdom. She slowed as she reached the edge of the town, tugging her hood down farther over her face. No one else had eyes quite like hers, and she would most likely be recognized immediately. She was going to have to be very careful.
Max wiped the sweat from his forehead and continued to work even as the shop grew hotter from the fire going to heat pieces of metal, his hair plastered to his forehead until he brushed it back and left it in its spiky and messy form. He picked up the metal plow bit he was working on and with a bit of strength, brought it to a workbench to hammer away at the last bit that needed fixing. His father and brother Liam were also working, though they had focused on different tasks today rather than repairs.
Audi strolled the streets, looking at shops. Every so often she would stop and examine things closer, or exchange pleasantries with the owners, but never long enough so that they might recognize her. As she turned a corner, metal clanging filled her ears, and she headed in that direction. She reached the metalworking shop, and started browsing through the items there, making sure to keep her hair covered and her eyes shrouded in shadows.
"Screw it," Max grumbled, peeling off his shirt and throwing over his shoulder since he was sweating so bad. Their metalworking shop was one giant square of space with no separating walls, the only divider was a half wall that broke the shop into the actual back portion and the front part where customers could wait or drop things off. Max didn't notice the hooded figure looking through the few items as he went back to hammering out the last few divots on the plow bit.
Audi definitely noticed the guy working on the opposite side of the shop. He was very cute, and now that his shirt was off she could see the muscles in his back flexing as he pounded. She really wanted to go up and talk to him, even just to see what he was doing, but for some reason she felt a little… shy. Why did she feel shy? She had never been nervous to talk to people before. Something about this intimidatingly cute guy was making her stomach flutter and cheeks pink. Embarrassed, she pulled the hood down further, but her feet wouldn't let her leave. They wanted her to talk to the guy, and her head did too. So she killed off the butterflies, took a deep breath to let the pink fade, and stepped closer to where he was working.
He didn't really notice as she stepped closer, still working away until Liam called over his shoulder, "Max, customer." Max looked up and over at his brother before turning towards where the customer was.
"Oh!" He smiled and set down the hammer, messing with his hair again and walking over, "Can I help you?"
God he was gorgeous. Audi’s heart pounded as he ran a hand through his hair, but she managed to keep her cool. “I was actually just looking. This stuff is really cool.” She picked up a masterfully crafted dagger, fingering the blade. Beautiful. Dangerous. “Did you make all of these yourself?”
"Thanks," He said, a little half smile settling onto his face, "Yeah, I mean, my brother made the handle, but I made the blade itself." Max couldn't see what the girl under the hood looked like fully, but her voice sounded beautiful to him as she started talking and he couldn't help but wonder if she looked as beautiful as she sounded.
“That’s so cool,” Audi murmured, setting the dagger down. His voice was so soothing, and she wanted him to keep talking. “I wish I could do this,” she added. “Work with metal like you do. It’s so fascinating.” She tilted her head up to see his face, and as she did so, her hood slipped down a little. Not enough for him to see her full face, but enough so that most of the shadows shrouding her eyes scattered, leaving her multi-colored eyes on full display if he looked hard enough. She didn’t notice the change, in fact she gazed at him wonderingly, still thinking the hood shaded her eyes.
He laughed and shrugged, rolling his shoulders, "It's tough, though it does bring some amazing results, like that blade." For a minute he glanced down at the dagger before his eyes flicked back up to her face, locking on her eyes and freezing for a minute. She had beautiful eyes. He seemed to get almost lost in them, or what he could see with them. Even if he couldn't see her full eyes from the slight shadow, they were still amazing and he could feel a slight tint of pink come to his cheeks before he finally looked away and felt his half smile return.
Surprised at his blush, she smiled softly, raising her head a little further. His eyes were beautiful, warm and kind. Something about them made her feel… safe. Safe and loved. She knew this was crazy, they had just met and she didn’t even know his name. But she couldn’t ignore the warmth blooming across her chest.
“How long have you been doing this?” Audi asked, desperate to keep the conversation going. Longing to hear his voice again. “Making things with metal, I mean.”
"Eight or nine years, I think," He replied, happy to have a question to answer as he asked one of his own, "Do you work somewhere in town?" Max reached up and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand to try to seem more casual and relaxed when in reality he was awestruck by this mystery girl. Her voice was beautiful and he wanted to hear her talk again and for her to stay longer so maybe he could get to know her.
"I wish." Audi snorted. "That'd be amazing. But my family has enough money so that I don't have to," she explained, enough truth to hopefully convince him, but definitely not the whole story. "Also they're super overprotective, so I doubt they'd let me anyway." Her eyes swept his work space, looking in awe at everything this guy was allowed to do. She wished she was allowed to do even half of what he was, especially working in town. That would be a dream come true. But she knew her parents would never allow that.
He chuckled and nodded, cracking his half smile again, "Maybe that's who I've never seen you around here before, you're from the fancy side of town." Max watched as she looked back at his workspace, wondering how anything back there could be interesting. There were tools scattered over his work table along with unfinished projects and other random things. It looked like a trash bin had been emptied onto the table in comparison to his brother and father's worktables, both of which were immaculately neat and clear of clutter.
"Something like that," Audi murmured. Silence followed as she tried to think of something else to say, something to allow her to continue talking to him. "So, um, what kind of stuff do you make here?" His work space was messy sure, but it looked lived in. Her room wasn't allowed to be messy, she was always expected to have it so clean it looked like no one even went in there. His cluttered area looked like a room should look: messy, but full of life.
