I read the books, they're not my favorite but they were interesting.
I kind of dropped them before I finished book two.
I didn’t like the whole incest thing going on, and I didn’t like Jace’s character. Well more like, his character was conflicted. One minute he would be a funny guy, then he would be an asshole.
I also didn’t like the vampire bit with Simon.
I only started reading tmi because I knew Jem (from the Infernal Devices) would be there and I finished them because Simon

This series is so bad (as are most of Cassandra Clare's other works). It's poorly written, plagiarised, bland, rambling, and portrays some really fucked up things like they're sexy or not a big deal.

Great books for me to read at the time. Hell, I loved them so much I gave all my books away to a friend so that also they can experience it as well. Although now when I look back, there were a few things I kind of glanced over that's really odd or messed up now. Like the whole Incest with both Jace and (Spoiler). The oppression of the Downnworlders, the whole mess that was the fifth book and Jace's entire character. Overall though, They were fun books for me to read at the time. And I don't regret reading them.
Jace was so messed up. Like one moment he would be this sarcastic deadly but lovable character. The next He was just plain cruel.

Same actually… I honestly didn't like TMI very much. Especially the romantic relationships… just ugh.
