Mia: And I refuse to shut up no matter what. It's one of my many flaws.(dramatic sigh, smiles to show she was joking)

Saeyun: Eh, it's nice to see someone who isn't cut off from their emotions for once. Spending like most of my life with criminals and other homicidal bitches, it's great to see someone actually happy.

Mia, laughing nervously: Yes I am never sad and that is a scientific fact. Mmmhhhmmm. Totally.
Mia, pulling something out of her satchel: Wanna see a picture of my dog? His names Miko, he's deaf.

Saeyun: Sure! He's super cute - hey, Kiyo, we should get a dog!
Kiyo: Did you hit your head??

Mia: I used to be scared of dogs then my friend said she can't be friends with someone who doesn't like dogs. She was only kind of joking. So we went to an adoption center and Miko was about to be put down. So I snatched him out of that place.

Saeyun: That's super cool! I aspire to be like you.

Mia: Why thank you. But just a warning I have never been called a good role model for children.

Kiyo: Yeah, we couldn't be called that either.

Mia: Well then I'm not alone I guess.

Saeyun: Why would you not be considered a good role model? You seem like a great influence, although we did just meet you.

Mia: I talk to everyone. Especially strangers. I carry around wasp spray instead of mace or pepper spray.

Kiyo: Knives are more effective, but I get it.

Mia: I have a pocket knife but that's to small to hurt someone. I carry the spray so I can say really ominous lines like (in a deep voice) "Don't mess with me, or you'll taste nothing but wasp spray for the rest of your life."

She starts blowing up her chair again, but stops: Really I'm a bad role model since I dropped out of high school.

Saeyun: Bro same! Me at grade ten and Kiyo at grade eight.
Kiyo: I didn't drop out so much as run away. But like, about the pocket knife, if you ever don't have the spray just aim for the eyes. And threats are my jam.

Mia, still trying to blow up her chair: Yeah, I finished 10 grade but just didn't go back, I'd be about halfway through my Junior year now.

Saeyun: Your what now

Mia: 11th grade, Junior year?

Saeyun: Oh. Oops. Sorry.
