Hey! I'm feeling in the mood for something crazy. Uh... I guess since I got an idea from someone else...

"I just don't think the lessons are all that important, and they're not fun either. Well, they're not fun to me at least." Kai picked up his bag, slinging it onto his shoulder. The bell rang and the other students prepared to leave. "Come on, break time. I expect you'll be wanting to meet up with Gracie and Etta again?"

"It would be my pleasure." He bowed slightly with a cheeky grin. "Would you like to lead the way, I don't know what lesson Gracie just had."

"Ah, downstairs we go!" Kai smiled brightly, no one had ever said he had manners before. It was a slightly amusing prospect to think of. "So what are you thinking of this place so far? Have you had the chance to look around it properly yet?"

"Well I don't doubt that Gracie will be more than happy to show you where you can eat. She seemed itching to show you around earlier." He let out a little chuckle and winked teasingly. "You never know, she might like you."

Kai glanced around the space he was stood in, but he couldn't see Gracie, or Etta, anywhere. "She's probably still in class, asking for extra work or something. As for the bell schedule…" He rummaged around in his bag, pretending to ignore the change quick show of emotion, and found a slightly crumpled piece of paper. "This has the timetable on it, telling you when each lesson starts and ends, and when each break time is. You need it more than I do." he held it out towards Miran with a smile.

"Perhaps it's because they are scared to approach you. Greeting someone on their first day can be really intimidating, especially if they have never seen them before. It's just knowing the right things to say." Kai placed his hands on his hips, and a very proud expression formed on his face. "I take great pride in delivering a warm welcome to every new student." then he paused and let out a meek laugh. "However I don't like being the first one to do it."

"I guess I will have to." Kai put his arm around Miran's shoulder, patting him gently. "Can't have you being friendless, now can we?" His smile was bright, he hadn't smiled so much in his entire life as he had that day. While they waited for Gracie, he decided to ask a few questions. "So what brings you to this school then?"

Kai felt a newfound respect for Miran, his eyebrows raised, his eyes glimmered. "Really? You, and fight? I think you and I are going to be better friends than you thought." he rubbed the back of his head, feeling a little silly for gushing like that. "It's a shame you being kicked out though, it's not nice moving to a new school when you know literally no one."

Kai glanced at Gracie, then averted his eyes the floor as he mumbled. "Kai Ashmore. I have music. Catch you both later." he turned to walk out of the building, shoving his hands in his pockets. He didn't look back even once. Miran was in capable hands, he wasn't needed for the time being.

A faint smile curled up on Kai's lips as he heard Miran calling after him. At least he was needed by someone outside of his band. Speaking of his band, he could see them in the line to go into the classroom. Toby, Alexis, Opal and September. Together with Kai they were the most mischievous, rebellious group in the year, possibly the entire school. They had been known to start fights, vandalize property, skip class, but the one thing that kept them all out of trouble was music. Kai threw the group a wink as he made his way into the classroom. He didn't wait for the teacher to say they could come in. The group made their way to the back of the room, sitting as close to each other as possible. The teacher gave a very disapproving look but he knew better than to argue.
