"How?"

"Fire."

She frowned. "Won't we just burn the whole island?"

"Not if we're careful."

"What do we need?"

"Hell Magic."

"And you're doing that, right?"

"Of course." He made a black ball of fire appear in his hand

Nyx looked at it curiously. "That's like Phoenix's. Only hers is green."

"This is Hellfire. It's actually cold to the touch."

"Really? Cool." She laughed, realising she'd made an unintentional pun. "Literally."

"Yeah…" he laughed.

"So, uh… what do we burn?"

"A torch!"

"Yeah, but, like, fuel?"

"Oxygen!"

"Really?" She was curious.

"Yes!" He lit the unlit torch up

She stared at it, fascinated. "You're like Phoenix, but male and with emotions." And engaged to me.

"Interesting…" It was night.
"Come on! Someone!!" And finally, someone came.

They were in the middle of making out when Nyx looked up and heard the soft whirring of a plane. Clinging close to Vozreal, she kissed his neck. "I didn't think that would work so soon…"

"Neither did I…" They got in.
"Thank God…" They also got their stuff.

The pilot, a scruffy, red-bearded man with a kind heart, guided them to their seats. The other passengers stared at them: Vozreal, who had to duck because of the low ceiling, and Nyx, still in her singed pajamas, moving gingerly (her rib still hurt). Nyx felt very self-conscious without her bracelets on; fortunately, her pajamas were long-sleeved.

"Thanks, pal! You saved me and my wife's lives!"

"I'm not your wife yet," Nyx murmured, her heart fluttering. They got in two spare seats at the back.
"Sorry, this is all the room we had," the pilot said. "We'll be landing in Dubai in a few hours. Do you two folks need anything?"
Nyx shook her head as her stomach rumbled loudly.
The pilot laughed. "We'll get you some food, don't you worry." He gave some instructions to the flight attendants and left.
Nyx sighed and leaned against Vozreal.

"Time for Dublin…" He sighed, falling asleep

Nyx fell asleep as well, which annoyed the flight attendants no end when they came to get their food orders.

"Burger…"

The flight attendant narrowed her eyes at him slightly, unsure of whether or not he was awake. "Do you want fries with that?"

"Of course…" He then snored.
