The flight attendant looked at him suspiciously. "What to drink?"

"Dr. Pepper…" He woke up.

"And for her?" She gestured to Nyx, who was still asleep.

"Same."

"OK, so, two burgers with fries and Dr. Pepper?"

"Yes please."

The flight attendant disappeared, returning a few minutes later with the food.

"Thanks…" He said.
"Nyx, get up."

"Mm." She stirred.

"We have food."

Her eyes flicked open, and she sat up. "Food?"

"Burgers, fries, and Dr Pepper."

She pulled down her tray. The flight attendant gave them their food.

"Thanks again."

"Yeah," the flight attendant said, before moving away.
Nyx started eating. It was surprisingly good for airplane food.

They ate.
Finally, they arrived in Dublin.

Nyx got off the plane and blinked at the airport goers. She felt incredibly out of place, and she was still in her pajamas.

"You're still in your pjs…"

"I know," she said stiffly. "Can I wear your suit jacket?"

"Sure." He handed her it

Nyx shrugged it on. It was at least three sizes too big for her, but she felt less self-conscious.
They made their way through the airport and into the Dublin sunlight (which there wasn't much of).
"Did you get us a hotel? Or a house?" she asked.

"Of course." He said. It was very fucking rainy out

Nyx pulled the suit jacket over her head. She looked adorable, all snuggled up in it.
"Let's go, I'm freezing."

"Okay then." The bentley was waiting for them.

Nyx got in and promptly turned the heaters on full blast, giggling softly when she saw that his shirt, which was wet, was sticking to his chest like glue.

He got in the car and started to drive to the house. He drove on the left side of the road, like you should in Ireland

Nyx, still exhausted, fell asleep on the way over.

They arrived.
"We're here."

Nyx stirred sleepily and looked at the house, which was barely visible through the rain.

"Come on…" He said, picking her up and carrying her in
