Nyx smacked him in the chest.

he laughed and smiled

"I love your smile," she told him.

"And I love yours."

"Really? Nobody's ever told me that before. Well, except for Anne."

"Really? That's a shame…" He said, smirking

"Why are you smirking?"

"Because I'm looking at the most beautiful woman."

She blushed, but held his gaze. "You really think so?"

"Yes, Nyxie."

"I think you're the most handsome man in the world."

"Thanks…" he blushed

She kissed his neck.

He kissed her forehead.

"We should probably plan some more…"

"Yeah…" He said

"But I'd rather cuddle with you for a while…"

"Same…" He said

It was still raining outside, and thunder boomed loudly. Nyx shuddered and grabbed a blanket, draping it over the both of them.

"I have an idea.." He said

"What's your idea?"

(Pillow and blanket forts. Kidish, I know…)
"What if we made blankets forts? "

(Might I remind you, Nyx and I are the joint queens of inner child)
Her eyes sparkled. "Yes!! Let's do it!!"

"Alright!" He got all the blankets in the house

Nyx gathered up all the pillows in the house and dumped them in the living room before starting to drag chairs over from the kitchen.
(Naturally. Why else do I feel so natural roleplaying with Abie?)

They began construction of the fort.

(Also it's funny bc sheps usually bring others' inner child out, but my fiancé's inner child doesn't really… well, he pushes it down a lot, and he doesn't like sheps, so it takes a LOT of work for me to activate his inner child. His inner child is super fun though, I don't know why he pushes it down so much.)
Nyx, who was a natural at building forts, having grown up with Seven, quickly accomplished it and curled up inside. She'd made sure that there were plenty of blankets and pillows left over, and she'd given Vozreal the task of arranging them inside the fort.

He did so. He made them fancy and exquisite.

Nyx laid down in the centre of the fort, staring up at the blanket ceiling. She'd used the sheets from their bed for the ceiling, and they were green, casting a dull emerald glow on everything underneath.
"C'm'ere," she told Vozreal.
