"Don't worry? Your nose is bleeding! Here, where's some tissues?"

"You're sick. Don't exhaust yourself, okay? You have a professional doctor here."

"Vozreal Rafter, your nose is bleeding, and I'm going to find you some tissues." She sat up and pulled the covers off of her legs, ready to get out of bed.
(Is the nosebleed just random, or some other thing?)

"Nyx Rafter, you're sick. Stay in bed."

She turned pink at the name and laid back down, pulling the covers back over herself.
"At least promise me you'll get a tissue."

"I will." He promised. "I got you a book so you can do something."

She looked down at it curiously and picked it up. "What is it?"

"It's 'Romeo and Juliet in Modern English'."

"I don't read, Vozzie…"

"Try to read it for me, okay? It's one of my favorite books."

"Really?" She looked at it. "Maybe I'll try, but my head h-h-" She yawned again.

"It hurts? You need medicine." He gave her some aspirin.

She swallowed the pills and curled up under the covers. She was still snuggling with her bunny, and between that, her pink silk pajamas, her flushed face, and the fact that her hair was messy, she looked small and delicate and adorable.
"I haven't gotten sick in such a long time," she murmured.

"It's okay. Dr. Vozreal Rafter is here now."

"Better than scientists who do experiments." Her eyes closed. "And cut you up, and stick needles in you, and use your venom…"

"Shhh.. Talking makes it worse…"

"That's what they all say," she mumbled, and didn't say anything else.

"I mean… Your headache. It'll make your headache worse."

"Mm." Clutching her bunny to her chest, she curled up under the covers, starting to fall asleep.

"Good girl…" He whispered in her ear

She turned pink.

He went to make Taco Soup.
"Nyx… Wake up…" He said, getting a bowl of taco soup and a spoon for her. He put them on a foldtable thingy.

Nyx was fast asleep, snuggling her bunny, her forehead red and sweaty, skin warm to the touch.

"Nyx Rafter, wake up…" He touched her forehead.
"Oh dear…"

She stirred slightly. "Mmm…"

"Wake up, Nyxie. I got you some food."

She blinked awake and sneezed.

"Here. Eat."

She put her bunny on the other side of her body so it didn't get messy and reached out for the spoon.

He fed her, for a bettwr term
