"I have gauze." Anna volunteered. She fished the roll out and tore off a piece to dangle in front of Furball.

Furball's eyes dilated even further and he leaped up to catch it. Moko watched, unfazed.
"Moko is a little more intelligent than Furball is, and doesn't really go after most things just for the fun of it–no matter how cat-like he looks. He does, however, go after food, especially fries. He likes the reward I guess."
Anna laughed at Furball. "Too bad. We should have thought to bring the food with us…"

Moko heard the request and disappeared in a puff of shadowy smoke. "Awww. There goes my therapy demon…" Tess pouted.
Anna considered giving Furball back but quietly decided not to. He was so soft and snuggly and cute.
Tristan moaned exhaustedly and stared down the pit, his tail twitching back and forth, he found a rock and picked it up in his mouth, only to drop it over the edge. Then he stood still and listened, for 5 minutes. He never heard a single noise. "I must stay positive." He decided and then sat down, "Ah who am I kidding, I'm gonna die."

Moko poofed into existence before Tristan, just slightly bigger than him. He turned a gold color and wrapped around Tristan, restoring his energy while giving up some of his own. When the gold dulled and became black again, he pulled away. He tilted his head, twisting his large fox ears in inquiry.
Tristan shook his fur out and stared at Moko, "Who're you?" He asked sniffing the creature.
Enderstorm had lain down and fallen asleep in her human form, to save space. She twitched and rolled around fitfully in her sleep, sleep-whispering occasionally.

It tilted its head, understanding but unable to communicate. He spread his bat wings and flapped them before tucking them neatly on his back. He lifted his head and showed a near invisible leather band with an emblem carved into it–the letters M and V overlapping inside a circle.

Anna suppressed her urge to pace and kept petting Furball. Tristan would be ok-he had to be ok. It was his trial, and he would be able to do. Her mind simultaneous placed together the pieces of the trials so far, leading up to the fact that every none human had gone or was going. That left her and Lacie, and neither of them seemed to have any specific skill sets, unless Anna had one she just couldn't remember. Maybe Lacie did too; Maybe they'd forgotten things because they could do things they weren't supposed to know about. Or maybe that was just Anna's way of picking apart small clues around her that were really meant to show her something else.
Enderstorm suddenly bolted upright, fear in her eyes. She shifted into a dragon and roared, staring wildly at everything around her. As she recognized where she was, she sheepishly crouched back down and turned into her human form again, an embarrassed blush spreading on her face.

Moko left Tristan, heading to his master. After convincing her to make a fresh homemade meal for the group–and a vegetarian meal for Danny–he popped back into the room with the others, bearing food. He even had a container of fries for him.
Enderstorm looked at the food hungrily.

Tessa gasped and eagerly dug in. "Mmmmmmm! Cinthia I love you so much! Go ahead guys."
"Your friends are the best." Anna gave Furball a little piece of French fry and tried to forget about her fears for Tristan.
“Is there any wine or something?” asked Enderstorm as she preceded to eat much more than was intended for her, as dragons eat a lot.
Lacie drooled at the food. "I'm so hungry I feel like I could stuff myself for hours"
group
"Mm!" Tess agreed. "Cinthia is basically our babysitter. There's a total of 25 of us and she's our leader by nomination."
Furball chirped and devoured the French fry, while Tessa played fetch with Moko with the fries.
"She might be my new favorite person." Anna took a few pieces, her own stress levels keeping her from being too hungry.
Enderstorm just kept eating until her stomach hurt, then turned into a dragon so that she had more stomach space.
Lacie hid her worry with her massive appetite.

Tess looked up at Anna, noticing her reluctance to eat. "Yeah, me too. She really pulled me out of my rough life. Granted, hers was way worse." She paused, thinking. "Hey, why don't we play a game while we wait for Tristan?"
"I'm up for a game." Anna looked up from sneaking Furball bits of food probably not meant to be digested by anything but a human.
Enderstorm finally stopped eating, though she was still hungry, and nodded eagerly, looking reminiscent of a giant black puppy.
"Sure," Lacie needed something to calm her down and distract her

"Okay, cool. How about two truths and a lie?"
"Ooo, sounds fun!"
