No idea what to call this (anyone can join) (FINISHED)

Nyx snorted. "Oh, yes, and pigs fly."

He created a flying pig.
"Of course they do! Meet Steve, the flying pig!" He said, holding Steve

Nyx, more stunned than she cared to let on, raised her eyebrows and stepped back slightly. "I'll take that you're not lying, then."

"I'm not like you humans who lie about their age." He said, the word human making him sound like he's not.

Nyx sniffed. "I've never met anyone who lied about their age."

He was petting Steve.
"Isn't he the cutest?" He said, Steve's wings flapping

Nyx privately thought that Steve was rather endearing, but she would never admit that out loud.

Nyx chuckled quietly at Peppermint's remark, reaching out to brush her fingers gently against the pig's wings, pulling her hand back when they jerked away from her touch.

"He's very shy…" He said.
"Shall we go?" He asked

Nyx followed Vozreal down the porch stairs and into the yard. It was cold, and she shivered, buttoning up her jean jacket.

He noticed Nyx was shivering, so he got her some gloves, a warm jacket, and a scarf.

Nyx gratefully shrugged on the jacket and tied the scarf around her neck (she could think of at least three ways she could use it as a weapon, otherwise she would have discarded it), but refused the gloves.

"Your hands are going to freeze." Btw, they were in Montana, in a town called Paradox Vortex, A town known for it's weirdness

Nyx frowned at him. "I'll be fine."

"Okay, if you insist. Where do we go first?" He asked

"Are we still looking for… whoever it was?"

"Yes." He replied, not cold at all. he was only wearing a tuxedo

"Give me a moment." Nyx closed her eyes and activated her field, glad that the walls of the house were no longer hampering her. She reached out, but she could sense nothing beyond a few blocks. Opening her eyes, she shook her head. "All I can tell you is that they're at least half a mile away, three-quarters maybe."

"Yare yare…" He sighed, continuing to walk. He walked fast

Nyx hurried after him, combat boots thudding softly on the sidewalk. "Aren't we going to wait for Spector?"

"Of course. Let's wait now." He stopped

"So… what do you do for a living, mortal?"

Nyx shrugged. "Things. Here and there." She leaned against a tree. "You?"

(AKA Murphy hasn't gotten far along enough with Nyx to know what she does for a living 😂)

"I'm a deal-maker. I offer things to mortals in exchange for their emotions or soul, that sorta thing…"

"What sorts of things?"
