Nyx, when she saw the bruise on Peppermint's arm, turned to Vozreal, pointing an accusing finger at him. Her gaze was like ice. "You hurt her!"

(Nyx becomes incredibly defensive when she sees smol beans get hurt btw)

He healed Peppermint's bruise within a second or two.
"Whatever do you mean?" He said, smiling.

"I don't give a crap that you healed that," she said stiffly, trying to ignore the smile. Her fists were balled, eyes narrowed. "You still hurt her."

"If I actually harmed her, she would be obliterated. She has a small bruise. So I didn't hurt her at all."

(Character arc for Vozreal is going to be from "I hate Peppermint" to "If you hurt her, I hurt you." lol)

Nyx's hand went to her belt, ready to turn on her electromagnets. "A bruise counts as hurting someone."

"Ok, what would you like me to do, apologize?" He said

"See? She isn't hurt." He said to Nyx.

"It doesn't matter. The action is what counts."

"Should I apologize?" He said, slightly sarcastic

Nyx raised her eyebrows. "I don't know, should you?"

"I will, just to calm you down." he did so.
"There. Better?"

Nyx scowled and said nothing, but her hand left her belt. She folded her arms.

"let's go find this dumb knight and mage." He sighed, lighting a cigar and smoking it. He doesn't get bd breath from it however

Nyx wrinkled her nose at the smell and stepped away. "Yes, let's find them, shall we?"

"You know who they are, don't you? Lead the way then." He said.
"Wait, who wants to come with us?" He asked everyone else

"I've no idea who they are," she said. "I just said I'd help you find them."
She stepped further away from the cloud of cigar smoke. The smell brought back memories, and not good ones.

"Ugh, this is terrible! What does it take to find a DECENT cigar these days?" He threw it away, and washed out his mouth of cigar smut and such. He freshened it up a bit.
"Anyone else wanna join?"

Nyx closed her eyes and activated her field, wondering if there was a possibility she could find the knight and the mage before they got too far away; however, her power was limited by the house, and she could barely sense anything beyond the yard. She sighed and opened her eyes again.

"I guess not! Off we go then!" He said, walking out the door.
"Also, you don't have to go home, but ya can't stay here!" He said to everyone else

Nyx followed Vozreal out into the yard. It was a beautiful, cloudless night; the Milky Way looked like someone had spilled a bucket of velvet and diamonds onto a black tablecloth. Nyx caught her breath briefly. Stars were something she loved, and she appreciated them more than most people did.

"Funny… I don't remember it being night time! It was day just a few minutes ago…" He said

"Why does she call you 'old man'?" Nyx inquired. The question had been itching at her for a while, but she hadn't dared to voice it in front of Peppermint.
