Hi stayed underwater

Nyx put the films back on her eyes and sank, sitting cross-legged on the concrete bottom of the deep end.

He was meditating at the bottom of the pool

Nyx poked his chest.

"Hello again!" He said to Nyx

"What do you need?"

"C'mon, you're being boring," Nyx said, grinning. "Let's play something."

"Like what?" He asked, curious now

"I don't know. Something." She kicked off the bottom of the pool.

"Like tag??"

"Sure. You're it!" She sped off to the other side of the pool.

"No, I'm a him!" He was faster and tagged her in a matter of seconds.

Nyx dove after him, tagged him, flipped, and pushed herself off of his chest with her feet.

He tagged her back

They played tag for another few minutes before an exhausted Nyx sank to the bottom of the pool, lay there, flat, and glared up at Vozreal. "Fine. You win."

"One more round." He said

"Tag doesn't come in rounds. You run around until the last person who's not exhausted is still standing."

"Are you kidding? What type of tag is that? Real tag comes in rounds." He said

"Not according to Seven and Anne."

"So? Tag is better in rounds"

"Fine. One more round, and then we do something else." Standing up, she kicked off of the floor again and tagged him. "You're it!"

He tagged her. They kept playing until, eventually, he let her win.

Nyx knew perfectly well he'd let her win, but she knew he'd tease her for it, so she kept quiet. "Right, what now?"

"Wanna chill in the hot tub??"

"Sure." She got out of the pool and hopped in.

They chilled in the hot tub

Nyx ran her fingers through her wet hair and leaned back with a soft sigh of ecstasy. The hot water felt good in the chilly March night.
