Nyx curled up underneath the blanket and leaned her head against the side of the couch. "Are you sure you want to know about this?"

"Positive, dear." He sat down next to her comforting her

She subconsciously leaned into him. "I don't know where to start."

"Start at the beginning: Why are you afraid of Lab equipment?"

"I was raised in one. A lab."

"Were you experimented on in the past?"

She closed her eyes. "Not experimented on. I was born this way."

"Anything else I should know?"

"That's all you're going to ask?"

"Like, why do you hide your spurs?"

"Because I don't want people to think I'm strange." Reaching underneath the blanket, she took off her belt and flicked the switch on; the electromagnets on the back hummed to life, and she stuck her bracelets to them before putting the whole thing on the floor.

"I personally love them."

"You do?"

"Why not? It's attractive."

"Attractive?" she squeaked. "Even the ones on my ankles?"

"Yes~"

Nyx tilted her head back and looked up into his crimson eyes.
"Really?" she asked softly.

"Indeed~" He was being honest

The ghost of a smile lit her features.

"And I think your attractive as well…" He said, maybe blushing

Nyx went pink, bit her lip, and looked down again, leaning into him.

He leaned her, not knowing if she wanted to kiss or not. The tension woulda fitted that

Nyx, oblivious to Vozreal's inner battle, sighed. "Thanks for letting me talk to you."

"No problem, my dear~" He said.

It took her a moment for her mind to process his words, and when it did, she jolted upright, staring up into his face. Hers was bright red.
"What?" was the only thing she could get out of her mouth.
