"No. She's a lot kinder, just stressed." She says with a nod as she sighs and opens a room. "Here you are dear." She then heads over to a closet and opens it. It has a few dresses and suites in it. "We put all the clothes guests leave behind in the guest room closets. So feel free to keep what you wear." She says with a nod. "Just put your wash outside the door, it'll be collected and washed tomorrow morning. Sleep well. Oh! My room is just down the hall and to the left, 6th door down, in case you need anything." She smiles and heads down to her room to undress and get ready for bed.

"Thank you, princess." Thorne closed the door behind her and stripped off their wet clothes, replacing them with some casual pants and a soft shirt. They carefully combed through their hair and pulled it back into a braid, then sat on the bed, wondering if there were any books in the room.

Of course there were books in the room, a small book shelf tucked into a corner. Crystal sang as she brushed her hair and put on a simple silk nightgown, pink, humming away as she twirled around her room.

Thorne noticed a bookshelf and glided over to it, running their fingers over the spines before selecting a book.
"Short Stories and Poems of the Woods." They read to themselves. "This will do." Thorne walked back over the bed and opened the book to a random page. They clear their throat, then begin to read, their voice smoother and softer than normal. As they read, the room around them ripples, until it looks like the scene they just read.

Crystal decided that tea cakes and champagne were not adequate food and headed down to the kitchen, and stopped at your room, knocking on the door. "Thorne…I apologize if you're trying to sleep and I don't mean to disturb you but, I was about to head down to the kitchen and was wondering if you wished to join me for a better meal."

Thorne opened the door, the scene from the book still vibrant. "Oh, I wouldn't mind that. I don't think I've eaten anything but champagne since lunchtime." They looked back at their room and snapped their fingers. The scene disappeared, and they turned back to Crystal. "Lead the way, princess."

She stood there, impressed. "What were you doing in there?" She inquired as she walked away. "And please, Crystal I implore you. I am no ordinary princess and so shall not be called in an ordinary way."

"Oh, just practicing." They close the door behind them and follow her down the hallway. "Okay, Crystal it is." They reach to their neck and grab an amber pendant hanging from a silver chain, rubbing it absentmindedly.

She watched you. "Well, I'm impressed with it. It was quite beautiful." She walked in, and searched the cabinets. "Hmm…cheese, crackers, some wine…sound alright?"

"Thank you." Thorne smiled. "Yes, that sounds wonderful." They paused, thinking, then held up their hand. A glowing, blue flower appeared over their hand. They held the flower out to Crystal.

Crystal looked down as she set down the cheese, crackers, and wine. "Oh my…how pretty." She takes the flower and tucks it into her hair.

"It's a Rellusion," Thorne said, feeling the need to explain themselves. "A real illusion." They added, smiling slightly. "My specialty."

"Wow that's amazing." She said with a grin and a laugh, and began to cut the cheese, and poured the wine, handing you a glass.

Thorne accepted the glass of wine and took a sip. "Thanks, pr- Crystal. So… what exactly does a princess do all day?"

"Sit around, sew, be polite, do their studies, and marry a prince. The average princess anyways." She says as she ate some of the cheese and crackers. "Hm…a bit stale."

"That sounds very boring." Thorne popped a cracker with cheese in their mouth. "I have to agree." They shrugged. "If you could do anything, what would you do? If you could be anyone, who would you be?"

"Oh? I would be a healer. A woman for the people, who teaches the little kids small tricks to entertain their friends. Such like that…the crazy old woman of the town some would say."

(Hey! I think I’m going to step out of this one bc it’s more of a storyline and hard to keep up with my busy schedule.)

"A healer." Thorne nodded. "I could see that for you." They took another sip of wine. "Everyone would love you, I just know it."

She blushes and smiled. "Why thank you dear." She ate some more and enjoyed her wine. "So then, where ARE you from Thorne?"

Danny gets bored of the party eventually and heads of to wherever Danny goes in his free time. The party had nothing for him.

"A village in the middle of the woods. It's not really named on maps, but we call it Zini." They smiled, thinking of their home. "I run the bakery there with my best friends… at least, I did." Their face fell. "Now it's just me and Emris."

"Oh my…Zini…Oh! My brother goes there, since they always have the best cookies and such unique ware. I've never gone, but I've heard of it."

"Yes… Emris likes to brag that our baked goods are the best in the woods." They smiled. "I'll have to take you there sometime. Introduce you to Emris."

"Oh that'd be wonderful." She downs the rest of the wine, and poured another glass. She was beginning to feel a bit tipsy by this point.

"Oh, me too?" They asked, holding out their empty glass. "I'm going to have to bake you some cinnamon rolls at some point. They're my specialty." They grinned.
