Nori is launched into the air “aaaaaahAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!! WHYYY!!!”

Auretta screams as she gets launched into the air. “AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!”

Nori tries to fly back to the ground? Grabbing Auretta along the way. “AAAAAH!!!-don’t worry. I’ve got you.-AAAAAAAAH!!!!”

Auretta clings to Nori, still screaming. “GET US DOWN!!!!”

Val laughs, uneffected by the change in gravity. She restores gravity, causing everything that had risen to come crashing down, freezing Auretta and Nori, gently lowering them to the ground. She grins and wraps them in a hug. "I'm sorry!"

Auretta hugs Val back, trembling. “Never do that again-“

Nori just shakes violently. “Iwassaandthenthrgroundandtheskyandiwasfallinganduh“

"Okay, okay… not to you people, at least. I may do it to our enemies. But never to you guys again." Val murmurs, stroking Auretta's hair. She tries to decipher Nori's words but fails.

Auretta whimpers, clinging to Val. “It was scary-“

Nori keeps shaking. “Sore wa osoroshī kotodeshita! Son'na koto shinaide!” He starts panting. “O-okay. I think I’m okay now. Kusa…”

Val looks confused. "I'm sorry… I couldn't directly translate that. English, please?"

Auretta is mumbling something about fear and worry as she clings to Val and Nori.

Nori rolls his eyes. “Rather just leave it untranslated then. I don’t want to taint your Christian ears.”

Val snorts. "Christian my ass." she grumbles.

Auretta continues mumbling, trembling a bit more.

Nori shrugs. “It’s like the song I’d love it if we made it by the 1975. It sounds pretty but it’s actually terrible and awful.” He looks over at Auretta, growing worried. “Are you ok??” He hugs her tightly

Auretta says nothing in response, still mumbling as she hugs Nori tightly.

“Kusa… Aur?? Tell me what’s wrong!!” He says, concerned

Auretta tightens her grip on Nori, breathing quickly. She seems a little dazed, like she’s remembering something.

Nori sits her down, folding his wings around her. “Hey, hey look at me. Calm down. You’re okay, you’re safe.” He repeats things Lukas had done for him before

Auretta whimpers, clinging to him as she looks around a bit. “I-“

Val looks startled, but reaches into Auretta's mind and finding what was wrong. Oh, Jesus… experiments… She gets up, a pissed look on her face. She rips a hole in reality where the facility is, after rescuing all of the "experiments". The facility disappears, and Val reweaves reality so that no traces of that place remain.

Nori watches, rubbing Auretta’s back. God, I hope the other Wings are okay… he shivers, continuing to comfort Auretta

(I meannnn you’re not wrong- It was less of experiments and more of…torture-)

Auretta starts crying quietly, clinging to Nori. All the memories start flooding back as she tries to push them away.

Nori immediately understands what she’s feeling. He hugs her tighter, staring to cry. “I’m so so sorry…”

(Yeah, either way that place is gone.)

Val looks to Auretta and hugs her. "Shhh… that place is gone… all of the others trapped there are free… the facility is gone…"

Auretta clings to her friends, sobbing. “I-It was awful-“ she chokes out. “I-I’m just a kid- Why did that have to happen-“

"It's okay, Etta… they can never hurt you again…" Val murmurs.

Nori starts sobbing, clinging to Auretta. “I’m so sorry. I’m so so sorry. I didn’t want it either.” He sniffs again. “Why can’t I just be a normal kid?? Why?!”

Auretta continues sobbing, the weight of all of her experiences crashing down on her. Her sobbing becomes more like screaming, the pain tearing her heart apart.
