First, upload the photo onto a character, location, universe, or item.
Once you've saved the character, click the photo in the gallery.
This will open a new tab. Copy the URL in that tab and paste it in the desired forum.

For me, I have One Specific Item that i use for posting pics in forums, especially if the drawing isn't of a particular character.
