"I'm sure that you can…" Rantaro assured him as he held onto him tightly. "I-I'm just scared…"

Shuichi tried to comfort his new boyfriend as best as he could

After some time passed, Rantaro calmed down, but he refused to go back to sleep.

Shuichi held onto his live tightly

Rantaro sighed softly. "Shuichi, I'm okay now… I just…don't wanna sleep…"

“ I just wanna cuddle…”

Rantaro nodded and wrapped his arms around Shuichi. "We can cuddle. You okay, though?"

“ yeah, just, enjoying what I have”

Rantaro smiled at the response. "Awww. I love you, Shuichi."

“ I love you taro”

"I love you, too, Shuichi," Rantaro smiled softly. "You wanna do anything?"

“ not really,” he said softly

Rantaro nodded. "Fair. It's late… You can sleep if you want to."

Shuichi nestled into rantaro “ I'm glad today happened

Rantaro nodded. "Same here. It had some drama, but I'm glad that we're dating."

"I love you, too, Shu," Rantaro smiled softly. "Now try to get some sleep, okay?"

“ Okay..” he whispered before falling asleep

Rantaro watched over Shuichi as he slept. He would've gone to bed himself if he hadn't had a nightmare earlier that day. However, the thoughts of that kept him up, so he ended up not sleeping that night. He couldn't get himself to sleep even when he tried, so he just stayed awake. As the next morning came, he just waited for Shuichi to wake up.

Shuichi slowly woke up but didn't wanna stay up for long

Rantaro looked at him. "Morning, Shu. Did you sleep well?"

“Yah “ he whispered softly with a yawn

Rantaro nodded. "That's good. Glad you slept well."

“ how about you?”

"Um…." Rantaro sighed softly, "I couldn't sleep last night, so I didn't…"

“ taro!” shuichi said a little offended

Rantaro looked away from him. "I really tried, Shu… I just couldn't…"

“ then I'll be awake if you sleep,”

Rantaro nodded. "Yeah… I should probably try to sleep, but thoughts of the nightmare kept me up…"
