Name: Nathaniel Rhysand, his family name is Graye but he refuses to go by it, not wanting to be immediately associated the sister who left, or the parents that cursed her because she left.

Nicknames: Nathan, Rhys (pronounced Rise)

Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff, first in his family in 550 years

Pet: An Australian Mist kitten named Echo, Coco lovingly

Appearance: Nathan is 5'5 and has tan skin. He has freckles dotting his nose and under his eyes, and a small scar on the left side of his chin. His eyes are a stormy grey and he has long eyelashes. Nathan has dark brown hair in soft curls. He cheeks get a rosy red colour when he is angry or embarrassed.

Personality: Nathan usually keeps to himself, but is very social. He likes to be in the presence of others even if he isn't actively talking to them. Nathan is sarcastic and asks a lot of rethorical questions, its his way of showing others he cares (his words). Nathan is loving and caring and is surprisingly great with kids. Nathan has a cold and intimidating persona, he seems like the kind if person who would jump you if you insult him, but that's just a mask to protect him from getting hurt again. Once you get to know him, he will be the person to clean you up if you fall down, even if he scolds you for being an idiot the whole time.

Likes: writing, sewing, giving/receiving gifts, high places, the night, rain, water(like swimming), potions, transfiguration and DADA

Dislikes: spiders, ancient runes, chains, necklaces, the colours orange

Background: The summer before his first year at hogwarts, Nathan stopped talking. His older sister had left him in the middle of the night to go runoff with a girl she loved. She had been dating a muggle born hufflepuff girl in secret for some time. She kept it hidden from their parents because they were against same-sex couples, had a pureblood fantasy, and their family consisted mainly of Slytherins and Ravenclaws. She came home after her last year at hogwarts and told them. They flipped out, threatened to hex her and lock her at their home without her wand. She packed a bag that night, hopped on her broom, and left. She left Nathan with her journal, a book she enchanted to work like the mugger telephone. Her could write to her and she would respond. He hadnt used it in almost 2 years though, he was mad at her for leaving him at 11 to fend for his own and suffer his parents wrath. Nathan wrote to her as a child, but as he got older, he got angrier at her for leaving him and refused to talk to her. He knew that she was writing to him, the cover of the page would whisper to him whenever he picked ut up, but he never wanted to open it to see what she wrote. Nathan was a happy and outgoing kid but after she left, he bacme cold and calculating. Moreso as he got older.

Other: Nathan has a favourite pen and notebook. As the seeker for the Hufflepuff team, he has a tendency to pick out details. Thats why if he starts picking lint and strings off your clothes, dint get annoyed. He enjoys creating his own notebooks. He doesn't know what his patronus is but his wand in 12 inches, made of Astwood with a unicorn hair core.
