shuichi turned off the bed alarm and crawled into kaitos arms .

Kaito held the other close to him. "I am so sorry that I wasn't there for you…"

" its not your fault.."

"I know…but still… I should've been there… I wish I was awake when this happened… You shouldn't have had to worry about me on top of trying to get better…"

" it just scaring over. " he said and rubbed his chest.

"I mean…a lot has happened.. I didn't want to add to it again…."

" its fine love.."

"Still…I'm sorry… I really thought I was getting better…and you did, too…didn't you…?"

"yeah.."

Kaito sighed. "If that's the case, then I'm really sorry if I scared you.."

" .." shuichi snuggled closer.

" i.. its nothing." he said softy

" i just.. i was scared.. when i was shot.. i thought id eft you behid.."

"Shuichi….it's okay… You're here now…. It's okay…."

he squeezed tighter to the other " i..i wont.."

Kaito held the other close to him. He wanted to hug him tightly, but he didn't want to hurt him. "Shuichi…you know I love you, right…?"

" yeah," he said softly

"You know what I'm gonna do one day?" He smiled a bit. "I'm gonna marry you one day.."

He internally sighed. I hope… I'm not sure if I'll live long enough… He tried to hide the feelings from those thoughts, but the smile faded, anyway..

Shuichi smiled " I'd love that," he said happily

"That's why I said it." He still appeared somewhat happy, though nowhere near as happy as most would be, given the topic.

Shuichi leaned up and kissed the other, holding it longer

Kaito kissed back, a bit surprised how long the kiss ended up being.
