"Rantaro…I don't need you stressing over nothing.." He considered his needs nothing..

" your not nothin. your everything to me kokichi." he said, he gave the other a soft kiss " just let me treat you like it."

Kokichi continued to hold onto him. "I'm not sure why you keep insisting… I've done this to myself before… I've done it since high school…" He sighs. "I don't remember it being this bad, though…"

" trust me, i know you did, now i wanna break that habbit."

"Good luck with that… I've done this since I was fifteen…" He looked away. "Seriously though, help.. I'm not sure what I did to myself in that state, but I'm in pain.."

rantaro sighed, picking the other up and walking out.

"Where are you taking me…? I thought I'd ask…"

" outside, for some air "

"Not a bad idea, honestly.."

" i love you.."

"I love you too, Rantaro… I'm sorry about everything.."

" its okay, im here to help you,"

"I appreciate it, Rantaro… Thank you.."

" anytime love," he said and smiled

"I'm probably gonna sleep for a bit.." He continued to hold onto the other. "I'm exhausted.."

" ive got you, go ahead.."

"Thanks, Rantaro…" He was asleep within seconds.

A week passed, and Shuichi was recovering quite quickly. Rantaro and Kokichi visited him quite often, making sure to check up on him at least once a day. Once Shuichi was allowed to leave, they immediately went to visit Kaito. He had been unconscious since the day Shuichi was shot, but his condition was improving. He was no longer barely clinging onto life, and the doctors said it was only a short matter of time before he'd regain consciousness. They had even started an experimental treatment for him, and it proved to be working wonderfully.

shuichi was always visiting kaito, talking to hi even if he couldn't hear him.

The other could hear him the entire time, and he was always trying his best to wake up.. While it took another few days, he finally opened his eyes..

shuichi was napping, snoring softly

Kaito looked at him. "Shuichi…?" He had no idea if the other was okay or not..

shuichi woke softly "mm… huh?" he said half out of it..

Kaito gave him a moment before speaking. "You good…?"

"yeah… wait?!" he lifted his head up, tears burning his eyes " kaito!" he hugged the other tightly

Kaito hugged the other back, beginning to tear up as well. "I'm so glad you're okay..! I heard you were shot…! I thought you were dead…!" He was so focused on Shuichi that he only then noticed his surroundings. "Um…how did I get here….?'"

"you crashed trying to get to me, but the doctors are helping, they're slowly fixing the problem.."

"How long have I been here…?" He sighed. "Last thing I remember is sitting with Kokichi and waiting for an update.. I didn't mean to cause drama…" He looked away. "I thought I was okay…"
