Soon, they arrived in Katio's room. Kaito was still unconscious from the day prior, but he was doing better.. He was stable and regaining the blood he had lost..

Shuchi sat next to the other " hey love.. I'm here..you can wake up now.. please!"

While he had yet to wake up, Kaito did grab Shuichi's hand, showing that he was still there..

Shuichi put his head on kaito hand.

After a couple more hours, Kaito opened his eyes, fully regaining consciousness.

Shuichi was on his phone, still at Kaitos side.

Kaito looked at Shuichi, relieved that he was there. He wanted to say something to get the other's attention, but he couldn't…

Shuichi sighed, tapping his foot.

I know I'm gonna regret this in a few minutes, but seeing how worried he is, I have to get him to know I'm awake…! Kaito thought about the decision, but then he spoke. "Sh…Shu…" He winced in pain after speaking, but he hoped he got his husband's attention.

Shuichi looked up " Kai! Your up!"

Kaito smiled a bit, glad that his plan worked, even if it did add to his pain..

Shuich gave a kiss to the others head

Kaito smiled for a moment before it faded.. He was still in a considerable amount of pain, and he wanted to talk to Shuichi, but he couldn't as it just hurt too much to do so…

" Don't worry love"he said softly.

There was so much Kaito wanted to express, but he didn't know how to.. He just wanted the pain to go away so he could talk to his husband…

Shuichi understood his need. " I can't help you.. and I'm sorry"

Kaito shook his head, trying to tell the other that there was no need to be sorry..
