"Patton, I'm perfectly alright, I'm just… tired…" Logan leaned against his dresser, a brief flash of lightheadedness passing over him. "I'm fine. I've just been working very hard, Patton."

"Lo… y-you're not okay… Y-You've been overworking yourself to past exhaustion… T-That's probably why you passed out… Y-You need to take the day off and rest… I-I don't want you working yourself to death…!!!" Patton was crying at this point.
"Patton… please stop crying, I assure you I'm not going to die." Logan sighed and headed over to Patton, awkwardly hugging him again. "I'm very much alive. I've been working a lot lately, that's all."
"T-That's all…? L-Lo… y-you know that's bad for your health… Y-You need to learn when to stop… w-when to take a break… I-If you don't… y-you really will die… a-and I don't want that…!! P-Please… f-for your health… j-just take today off…" Patton said.
Logan sighed softly. "Patton, I… I can't miss school. What if something important happens and I miss it. I just slept last night, clearly, so I should be fine."
"I-I already checked with your teachers… N-Nothing important is happening… a-and they don't want you coming to class, either… I-It's for your health…" Patton was telling the truth. While Logan was still asleep, he did go to Logan''s teachers to tell them about this.
Logan ran his fingers through his hair, sighing again. "I-I… alright." He reluctantly agreed. "I suppose I've already done all the homework anyways…"
"T-Thank you… L-Logan…" Patton said, calming down with Logan agreeing to take the day off of school because of all of the exhaustion it has caused him.
"Mhmm. We should go down and eat something." Logan pulled away and led Patton downstairs by the hand. He still felt a tad woozy, but he didn't mention it of course.
(If my replies are slow, I am working on recording a BTS song cover in a bit and working on pronouncing the lyrics correctly)
"Yeah, we should go and eat something. I'm sure that there's still some breakfast or something that we can eat, and you do need to eat, anyways, Logan," Patton said.
(No problem lol)
Virgil looked up when Logan entered and stopped in his tracks, completely bewildered. "Logan?? You usually would have left hours ago! What's going on?" Logan ignored him and pulled a jar of jelly out of the fridge.
Patton decided not to explain this to Virgil at the moment, simply not knowing about how he'd react to everything that is going with Logan and his deteriorating health due to exhaustion and being overworked.
Logan sat down at the table and began silently eating his jelly. Virgil looked between Patton and Logan, bewildered, but decided to let it go. He'd ask Patton later.
Patton had already planned to explain this to Virgil later, anyway, and he say next to Logan after saying a quick good morning to Virgil.
"Morning, Patton…" Virgil replied slowly, still examining Logan to try and figure out what was wrong. Logan would rather die than skip school, so this was very unusual for him. He looked over to Roman questioningly, wondering if he had any more ideas than he did.
"It is weird that Logan is still here, isn't it? Well, I don't see why he's not going to school, for even if he was in a state where he should not be going, he would still go. I mean, he'd find some way to go no matter how bad his health may be. I've overheard his teachers saying that maybe they should just ban him from coming if it got too bad, but I don't think they went through with it," Roman said.
Logan shot a pointed look at Roman and Virgil before getting up and leaving with his jelly. He went over to the couch and sat down, still eating his Crofters sulkily.
Patton followed him and was slightly concerned with the fact that he suddenly left. "Hey, Lo, are you okay? Why did you walk out?"
"They won't shut up about it… it's none of their business." Logan muttered, shoving another spoonful of Crofters into his mouth.
"They're just worried about you like I am, Lo… I understand that you request to have your privacy, though. I'll get them to stop bothering you, okay?" Patton said.
Logan nodded and continued quietly eating his jelly, drawing his knees up to his chest while he did so. Virgil looked over at Roman again, bewildered.
"If you ever need to talk about something, let me know!" Patton said, noticing that Logan appeared to be in a bad mood at the moment.
"I mean, it's the best explanation that I've got for this," Roman said.
Logan nodded again, remaining silent. "Patton?" Virgil called from the kitchen, sounding mildly worried.
"Yes, Virgil?" Patton called back from the living room before walking into the kitchen to talk to Virgil.
"Is he okay?" Virgil asked quietly, not wanting Logan to hear. "Lo would never willingly skip school."
"He… He should be fine…" Patton said, though he himself was slightly unsure as to if Logan would truly be okay.
"Did something happen? He's even more distant and grumpy than usual. I'm worried about him." Virgil said softly.
"No… Nothing happened, Virgil…" Patton said before deciding to rephrase that. "He just doesn't want to talk about anything, actually…"
Virgil sighed. "Alright… I suppose we'll never know, then. Logan is quite good at withholding information when he doesn't want to give it up."
"I know, Virgil…" Patton said before returning to the living room. "Lo… they really are worried about you… They all know that something's wrong… I'm not saying to tell them, but what do you want me to tell them so they know that you'll be okay?"
