ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE! If you want it

Teon walked slowly after Evelyn, hoping that they were having back-to-back meetings. That hope quickly vanished when he heard his name being called from the room Evelyn had ran into. Teon ran a hand through his hair, took a deep breath, and walked inside. "I'm here. What do you want?"

"One. Do not speak to me in such a tone of voice.Have some respect for your elders." Evelyn snickered, but soon was shut up by her glaring eyes. "Now. As you know we have a huge battle happening very soon, and we need…information on their weaknesses. We are going to send you two in to their main base. You both MUST learn to work together, in case in the future, no matter how near or far that is, you both end up on the same teams. We want the least amount of destruction to our precious city. So. Tomorrow at 9:30 am, SHARP! I expect you both to be at the east wing entrance, at the ready for the capsule to take you. Make sure you are thoroughly packed for ANYTHING to happen. I will try my best to help but can only do so much." Evelyn's facial expressions throughout this announcement consisted of more protest, anger, confusion, doubt, and then finally angry acceptance as she curled up in her chair, crossed her arms, and huffed, blowing her pixie cut out of her face. "Oh and Evelyn, I know you are excited to get out on the field." Evelyn raised her eyebrows as she looked at the Head Mistress. (No idea what to name her so for now this will work) "If you both learn to work together and even become friends, I will bump up your level grading, which means you will only have a few more months of training left before a small battle out on the city. Both of you both will get equal benefits. Now go pack, as it is already noon. Lunch will be in an hour, as per usual."

"What." Teon blinked in surprise. "You're sending me on a mission with her?" He earned a warning glare from the Head Mistress, and let out an angry breath. "Fine, fine." He turned towards the door, opened it aggressively and stalked out, only to find that the elevator was all the way on the first floor. It would take forever to get up here, which meant that his dramatic exit was for nothing. He hit the call button a few times and stood there, hoping Evelyn had to stay after for something. It was bad enough that he had to work with her. He didn't want to spend a single extra minute with her.

She gave you a look. "Your really taking that elevator?" She shook her head, pulled out some lock picks, and unlocked the door next to it. "Stairs man. So much faster. I could die, hope I do." She then hopped on the railing and began to slide down and down, laughing and screaming the whole way. Sometimes it stopped as she got off and got onto the next railing, all the way down, enjoying her time.

Teon watched her with a blank expression, then glanced at the elevator. It was only on floor 27, which meant it would take a long time to get to him. Mind as well. He stepped into the stairwell and closed the door behind him, then started walking down the stairs at a leisurely pace. He considered throwing something at Evelyn, but he didn't have anything that wouldn't kill her on impact. If he had an orange or something, though… different story entirely.

Evelyn reached the floor her room was at, unlocked the door, and headed to it, grumpy but good at hiding it and soon was distracted by some of her friends as she talked about the assignment, since it wasn't secret, and soon was off to lunch. Now there were certain classes and seperated seating arrangments. Evelyn instead of sitting with her regular crew, sat with the Unknown and Unrecognized heroes. Gwenpool, Squirrel Girl, Dr.Mcninja. (Hella cool web comic, i can send you the link. Also by like comic 2 it has hilarious commentary. Just put your mouse over the comic page and boom, funny laughs.)

Teon, deciding that an early lunch was a good idea, went straight to the lunchroom and tried to get some food early. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Apparently, the world hated him, and he was forced to wait until the regular time. Teon got his food and went to sit in a table in the corner, where he usually sat with his sibling Emrys. Unfortunately, Emrys was on a mission or something- apparently, it was too secret for em to tell Teon- so he sat alone. He didn't really mind since most of the people there were either boring, arrogant, stupid, or all three at once.

It was done mostly by hand at first) Evelyn was goofing off and enjoying her friends, a big smile on her face as she ate her pizza. She left her phone up in her room, and her headphones to charge, and brimmed with excitement, blowing up the job and over-exaggerating to compensate for having to work with you. (Am I doing good with this society? This is my first time fully fleshing out this idea, want to make sure I'm doing alright!)

Teon was almost done with his pasta when he heard a hush fall over the room. He looked up to see Emrys standing in the doorway, looking smug. Black hair, jagged around eir chin, looked like it had been recently cut, and grey-blue eyes swept the crowd until they landed on Teon. Emrys gave everyone a wave and strode over to Teon.
"Hey, brother. How's it going?" Emrys asked, sitting down in a chair next to him.
"Fantastic," Teon grumbled. "I have a mission. With Evelyn."

Evelyn got up, came over, and grabbed a few of her friends trays while talking with them, gave you a look, and smiled. "Hey Emrys! Welcome back! You'll HAVE to tell me about the mission." Evelyn knew everyone, whether they liked her or not. Suddenly someone called her name and she was off, clearing off her friends trays,singing her own song.

"Hello, Evelyn." Emrys smiled politely. "I don't think I can, seeing as it's top secret." Teon glared at Evelyn, then looked back down at his lunch. "So, Teon, what's this mission about?"
"Oh, we're just playing spies. We have to meet at the east wing entrance at 9:30 am." He heaved a big sigh and looked at Emrys. "I should be excited, seeing as it's one of the few missions that actually help. But… Evelyn." He shook his head. "I don't know what's with that girl."

"Ah Emmy, always keeping secrets." She smiled and winked, always teasing as she came back and plopped down next to you. "Sorry, only empty seat. Partner." Her real resentment for you? The girl who could at least bother to be civil to everyone? Well. You just rubbed her the wrong way (but it feels so right~ ;) Sorry for my bad flirts I couldn't help it) You bothered her, got under her skin. She thought. You. Were an asshole, to be honest. Stingy, and crude, and sharp and dangerous in the wrong way. Uptight. Emerys on the other hand was cool, and popular, and getting up there. She liked him. (Hope you didn't mind the bit of character control with Emerys there, but it seems to be what you are implying anyways. If you have any ideas at any moment, feel free to say so!)

Emrys raised eir eyebrow. "Well, if I don't, I'll get kicked out. Or killed." E shrugged. "So, Evelyn. I hear you have a mission coming up soon? You get to go with my wonderful brother?" Emrys grinned and patted Teon on the shoulder, maybe a little harder than necessary. "Tell me, how do you plan on not killing him?" E smirked. "It can be quite difficult." Teon rolled his eyes and downed the last of his water.

"Ah I'm gonna use him as a human meat shield,throw him at every danger I cannot handle, so then when he does die it looks like an accident. Duh." She laughed, when someone came over and whispered in her ear. "OH HELL YES!" She got up and turned around to see the confused expressions. "Knife Throwing contest. See you in the morning Partner." And was off.

"Wow. Good strategy." Emrys nods in approval.
"Wait, knife throwing?" Teon's eyes glitter and he hurries after Evelyn. "Could I join? Never mind, I'm coming. There's nothing you can do about it." Sure, he hated Evelyn, but he loved throwing things at stuff. He was quite good at it.

"I can figure out a way to make slitting your throat look like an accident." She shrugs as she heads off to the court field. There were some old and beat up archery targets set out in the training field. "Oh c'mon that's to EASY!"

"Oh, really." Teon rolled his eyes and followed her to the court field. "So, if that's too easy, what do you propose instead?"

She rolled her eyes ignoring you, and went over to a tall slender guy, with black hair in a pony tail, and it was obvious he was trying to grow in a mustache and a goatee. "Yo! Green Arrow wanna-be? Where the fuck are the difficulty settings?" He rolled his eyes. "Pipe down pipsqueak. There will be electronic walls and stuff, we're just trying to figure out the best way to hack the system without killing us all currently. The upgraded the security on the damn thing. Stupid youngster snitches…" He ruffles Evelyn's hair. "For now just relax. I hear you have a mission with stick ass over there." She huffed and related what had happened and the Head Mistresses words to the guy in front of her.

"Stick ass?" Teon laughed. "Is that the best insult you could come up with?" He sauntered closer to the two. "I really don't think so. Do you want to try again?" He spread his arms and grinned. "Come on, go ahead. I'm ready."

He eyed you,and began to laugh. "My, what a toughie. I only make fun, not trying to insult." He shrugged as Evelyn tried to fix her hair, glowering up a him. "Quit messing with my hair!" "Oh hush, it's easy to fix." Suddenly there was a loud crackle, and a bunch of electronic walls, some with cracks, others with holes in them, began to flash at random. "HEY ANTHONY! WE CRACKED IT!" "Terrific. Evelyn, was the star knife thrower here, winner the last 3 times of our little bets, would you like to take first throw at the new system? Looks like they upgraded that to." "Sure. What the hell. Send up a few shattered, few holey." She watched as 3 rows popped up. She sighed and drew out her 3 favorite throwing knives, tossed one around, and suddenly turned on her heel, threw one through the cracked ones. She hit the cracks and they crumbled away as they made contact and melted into the ground, the second one was just different shaped slits and holes, which she also accurately threw through, but the third wall? It lost momentum through the Mix of the two types, and thudded to the ground midway. "Eh. Good start, shoulda had a baseball throw instead a fling." She sat down on the side field. "Alright alright, yeah yeah. Been a little while since we've done this, now. Whose up next?" "SLOW your role Evelyn, we gotta make bets." She sighed and rolled her eyes. "5 bucks on Teon, 10 on Greeny." And she plopped in her cash into the coffee can.

"My turn?" Teon asked, pulling out three knives. "You'll forgive me, this is my first time doing this here." He smiled apologetically. "I'll do the same thing as her." The same three rows popped up. Teon gave them a once-over, then launched the knives. All three flew straight through the barrier and thudded into the wall behind them. "Voila." He grinned at Evelyn.

Suddenly a knife came out of nowhere and pinned your shirt to a tree behind you. "OY! EVELYN! CALM DOWN!" A red bearded guy came over and took out the knife, and glared at her. "No killin' on the grounds, or else Head Mistress will have yer head on a spike. Now see, yer enemy's aim here was at a tilt, not straight through. Also probably freshly sharpened." He sighed and walked over. "So far, Evelyn has the upper hand. Hit the bulls eye both times, but on all 3 he didn't even get close." He picks up one of yours on the grass. "Also Ev' you outta work out more." She huffed as she got her knives handed back and others took turns.

"Well, Evelyn. Do you want a rematch?" Teon asked, watching the other people. "See who can hit three of the bullseyes?" He tossed a knife into the air lazily. "I bet I can do it."

Evelyn eyed you. "Outta save up my talents for tomorrow." She sighed and pulled out a sharpening stone, and began to sharpen one of her knives. Arthur shrugged. "Teon, you're not used to how we do things. Make a bet on anyone here. Friend or foe. I'll sort out the money situation in a bit."

"Hmm." Teon tapped his chin. "Such a difficult decision. Five on Evelyn." Teon grinned at her, then made the rest of his bets. He handed the money to Arthur and frowned. "So, is there going to be a second round?"

(bubbles…?)

(Beep. Sorry) "Of course there will be." He sighed. "Gotta wait till the end of this round! Don't hurt Ev'." He looks around, and suddenly she's gone. "Damn it! Where'd she go?" He looks around, and there I am, looking through the settings of the simulator. "Fuck…EVELYN DON'T TOUCH THAT!" "I'm HELPING SHEESH!" He rolls his eyes and walked away over to me.

"Right." Teon nodded slowly, then sat down at the base of the tree and watched the other people. As he watched, he casually flipped a knife in one hand, always catching it perfectly. He was doing all he could to ignore the fact that he had a mission the next day. He wasn't looking forward to spending who knows how long with Evelyn. She was turning out worse than he remembered.

(EVELYN IS NOT THAT BAD YOU BASTARD! -throws lava on him-) Round after round happened, and you ended up with the most cash, and Evelyn came in third. She was unhappy about that, but headed up to her room nonetheless. The next day, she got dressed and went to breakfast, making sure to put on her supersuit under her clothes. She made sure she had everything packed before heading down, humming as she plopped down at the regular Lower Class table next to you, but ignored you as she made sure to finish setting up her Kicking Ass play list for killing guards and stuff, stuffing her mouth with french toast.

Teon had woken up way earlier than he meant to, but at least he had plenty of time to pack. He even got down to breakfast early, but the lunchroom people still wouldn't let him eat early. Which meant he was stuck sitting with Evelyn, who had chosen to sit next to him, for some reason. He shoved the last bite of fruit into his mouth and checked his watch. 9:00 am. He couldn't remember the exact time they were supposed to be down there, which bothered him. "Hey, Evelyn. What time were we supposed to be down there?" He asked begrudgingly.
