The kingdoms of Ethulian and Trearia have always been at war, mostly due to being opposites. Ethulian is the kingdom of darkness, of the night and the shadows. Trearia is the kingdom of light, of the day and sun. But after centuries of war and hatred, a gala has been planned to unify the two kingdoms. Not in marriage, no. Simply no more wars. But what happens when the two heirs of the kingdoms fall in love?

Name: Adria Raven. Her mother calls her 'My Little Raven'. Very few people may call her that. (Raven isn't her last name, just so you know)

Appearance: Fiery red hair that she received from her unknown father. It is typically in a messy braid, as she cannot be bothered to get it styled; Tanned skin with a heap of freckles dusting her face. These were also inherited from her unknown father; Stunning amber eyes that you can get lost in. These were the only attribute of Adria that she received from her mother. However, Adria does indeed look like a younger version of her mother, something that she hates.
Style: Adria wears whatever she damn well pleases. She can usually be seen with a simple plain dress, simple flats and a casual wear tiara.

Background: Adria’s mother Demara always thought that she would be unable to have a child. With never having loved any of her suitors, she was preparing for being alone. Then, a strange man with fire for hair and drops of lava for freckles showed up on the castle doorstep. Demara instantly fell in love. After only a month, Demara was pregnant with Adria, and was happy. Then the man left shortly before Adria’s birth, and Demara was heartbroken. She raised Adria as well as she could without a man, and did very well indeed. When in public, Demara acts tough and like a proper queen. But with Adria, she is very motherly and protective. Adria couldn’t ask for a better mother, but hates her father for leaving her mother.
Magic: Adria is very skilled in the art of darkness. She can control all shadows and bend them to her will. She is able to make solid shadows when need be, and can teleport within shadows when she must.

Other: Adria has a dragon named Jinx. She found the small dragon only a few years ago in the forest. Jinx has the uncanny ability to change sizes.

Appearance: Light brown hair that's thick, wavy and longer on the top and shorter on the sides and back, deep blue eyes that look calm and wondering, strong jaw line, defined cheeks, pale blushy skin.
Style: Usually casual attire despite his parents wanting him to dress formal all the time, roundish thin large glasses (basically blind without them)

Background: He was mostly raised by his mother for the first 2 years of his life before his younger brother Luther was born. Soon after Luther was born the queen developed a condition and often grew ill for long periods at a time. Their father was a tough love kind of man and the 2 brothers frequently got in trouble for their mischeif with eachother even to this day. Jack and Luther are very close and love finding fun and adventure together.
Magic: skilled in light magic, can bend light to make himself or other things invisible, using a light flash to temporarily blind people, bending of light to his advantage

Adria stood in the centre of the gala ball, essentially attached to Malekith's arm. She stopped herself from gagging as he stared just past the noble he was talking to and looked at the closest reflective surface. She rolled her eyes as he fluffed his black hair and flashed his blinding white teeth in a smile. She sure well wished that Jinx would appear.

Jack chatted with some people in the gala, plastering on a smile anx hating every second of it until he found a moment to exit the conversation and walk across the room and grab a drink from the table.

Almost as if on cue, Jinx decided to bound up Adria's dress and rest on her shoulder. Malekith glanced at the small dragon nuzzling his redheaded fiancé and slight fear appeared in his eyes. Jinx scampered over to Adria's other shoulder - the one near Malekith - and blew a small flame at him. The self absorbed noble shrieked as his fluffy hair caught fire. "Damned dragon!" He yelled as he ran away. Adria waited until she reached the punch bowl to let out her laughter.

Jack looked over at the laughing girl who had appeared near him at the table. "I suppose punch bowls can be quite funny?" He joked laughing lightly

Adria stopped laughing when she saw that someone else was at the table, but had to bite her lip to do so. "Um, no. This little fella set fire to my self absorbed fiancé's hair."

"Oh" Jack chuckled "That makes more sense"

"Wish he wasn't my fiance though. Hate him with passion."

"I'm sorry about that, I'm meant to be arranged with a fiance soon" He sighed

"Why do Royals never have any say in who they marry?! Even though I've just met you and barely know you, I'd rather marry you than Malekith!"

"I know I wish we could just choose" He laughed lightly "You really don't like him huh"

Adria rolled her eyes.

"What?" He asked smiling

"Let's see. He's self absorbed, self absorbed, and oh, did I mention self absorbed?" Adria partly joked, listing the things of on her fingers.

Jack laughed "Sounds like the worst kind of person" He agreed

"Ugh, he is. But of course Mother doesn't see that."

"I'm dreading meeting the person my parents will set me up with" He sighed

"At least you haven't already met them." It suddenly dawned on the dark princess that she hadn't told this boy her name. "I'm Adria, by the way. Adria Raven Entel. Only heir of Ethulian."

"Oh" Jack chuckled a bit awkwardly "Im Jack, first heir of Trearia"

Adria was surprised to find that she had been getting along with her 'enemy' so well. "Do you want to escape from here?"
