Lyra grinned. "That sounds wonderful! Pick me up at 8?" This was going to be so much fun. She was actually really good at gambling, something people always got all pissy about. Not her fault sirens were naturally lucky. And not her fault she braided luck charms into her hair to escape any and all misfortune.

"8," Lyra affirmed, a sharp nod of her head concreting the point. She took another sip of her mocktail. No one ever stayed at the bar for very long but she never really felt lonely. She felt a little lonely now, and Nykidia hadn't left yet. Nykidia was the first person to show genuine, trustworthy interest. "I'll see you tonight."

She smiled. "I'll see you tonight at 8 then. By the way you don't have to dress up if you don't want to," She said as she walked out. Night grew to her full size and curled around Nykidia. "You know this going to be weird because I can't leave." "You will be small and if you embarrassed me I will kill you," she said looking at Night giving her the evil eye.

Lyra laughed at Nykidia and Night's little fight. "I'm going to dress formally. It'll make everything feel so fancy and cool, y'know?" Yep, she definitely saved that dress because just a few days ago she was annoyed about it getting glitter all over her second favorite t-shirt.

Lyra grinned. "Guess I'll just have to hang around with you, then. How was your mocktail, by the way? I might get to put it on the menu." She really wanted to get a drink on the menu. Every other bartender had a drink on the menu but her, and she wanted to fit in.

Nykidia arrived at Lyra's house at 8 to pick her up. She knocked on the door and bounced impatiently on her toes. She was wearing a men's dress shirt and pants. The shirt was a light purple while a deep purple striped vertically down the shirt. The pants and bow tie she was wearing was black as well as the dress shoes. She had the sleeves of the shirt rolled up to her elbows exposing the bandages of her wrists. She had straightened her hair but there was still one curl on the left side of her head that refused to be straight. But one thing Nykidia did not change from the bar was her black tie on cape the a hood. Other than that she looked like an entire different person.

Lyra tossed some makeup onto her face with reckless abandon, smearing on some icy eyeshadow and bright blue lipstick. Paired with her flowing, floor length dress, teal hair, and blue makeup, she looked like a walking ocean. She rushed over to the door, holding a pair of bright blue stilettos. "Hey, Nykidia! Night!" She nodded to each of them, pulling on her shoes. "Ready to go?"

"Yep!" she said grabbing Lyra's arm and walking them to the limo. Nykidia opened the door to the limo for her to climb in. The inside of the limo the seats wear a light purple with the roof being a rotating picture of the stars. There was a minibar and a small slot machine.

Lyra gasped happily, rushing for the slot machine with a gleam in her eye. She pulled the lever excitedly groaning when she lost. "Dude, this limo is great! Is it really yours? Like, do you get to ride this all the time?"

Lyra grinned, smile weighed down with bitterness. "Yeah, well, I haven't always been my happy-dappy self, you know. I've changed a lot in the past few years. You're not completely off, though. I do love myself a good day at the casino." She'd been to more casinos than she could count. Actually, she used to go every day. Developed a bit of a gambling addiction, now that she thought about it.

"Oh well then I hope you will have fun," she said as the limo stopped. Nykidia got out and held the door open for Lyra. The casino didn't look very big on the outside. It even looked a little run down with it's tan walls and dark wooden beams. The front read Red Rose and a sign on the door said Closed.
