Well our teachers pet isn't first flute, our first flute doesn't deserve the position and is only first flute because I'm a freshmen and cant dethrone him yet but next year…. next year things will change

yes, we will be us XD. My band director made us do a sectional but it started raining so we had to go inside and there's, like, over 45 of us that had to fit inside the strings room (our school has 1 room for choir, 1 room for band, and 1 room for orchestra) which is much smaller than the band room and my band director just scoffed and asked if that much ego could even fit inside the tiny room XD
Haha, at my school we have the band room right next to the PAC (performing arts center ) and the piano room so we have all of the random stage supplies storage rooms to use for sections plus the stage and the piano room and the band room so we don't usually have that problem
Yeah, our orchestra is just really small so they get the tiny room XD
Don't you just hate it when your director reads the score wrong and tells you you're supposed to play when your not….

i'm in the middle of a 100 measure rest…… piccolo problems
At least it's not like me. I have 237 measures of rest, but the conductor separated it into bars of 5,6,7,8,and 2's for no apparent reason. I haven't gotten to play in class for about a week now…

@@Winter Yeah i don't have one either so when the low brass aren't playing a certain section, they all whip out their phones and i just sit there like, "ey…that's a nice wall' lol
