What if there was originally a fourth sibling who was way nicer and hung out with Lunos more, but they died in some kind of accident.
Now, I really want there to be a sense of danger even for the human, so what if there is a ritual/spell that sucks the power out of someone and the twins want to do it to a colorhair (AKA what they think the human is) but the process kills the subject.
The power can be used to do thigns like revive the dead, so it gives the twins hope.
They ask their lil sibling to get the human for them but Lunos (The lil sib) grows attatched and the twins confront him and now he has to choose between the two people he cares for the most for.

As a reader, that would sincerely tug at my heartstrings and I would want to take Lunos and hug him forever.

It's just a teensy idea but… What if Taramy is on her way to the dryer matt when she finds herself in this new world, she has a bag of dirty clothes on her back and a few tide pods in her pocket… When the people find her, they search her and find the bright little tide pods, then Taramy wakes up and the people are like: "Hah! We have searched you and found your food!" And Taramy sees the pods and is like: "NO, NO YOU CAN'T EAT THAT! IT'S POISONOUS!"

Maybe Prodinus? I literally just searched up fantastic and adventure in Latin and mixed them together.
