My father climbed a tree when he was about three years old. He got pretty high, a limb broke, and he fell straight to the ground. His skull cracked open.

. . . I mean, his mom said his personality changed drastically. But otherwise he’s lived for 63 more years (and has been dealing with a metric ton of other unrelated health problems.)
