I'm binging the Harry Potter movies and here are my thoughts while

oliver's "i don't believe it" is hot

(oh god i didn't think anyone would actually read this haha. funny thing about point 4…i have a fanfic where my oc is dracos twin and in hufflepuff. and yeah it makes no sense for hagrid to have been sorted into gryffindor when he's clearly in hufflepuff but yeah, he was)

ok is it just me or do they seem to treat the characters like older than they are?
like they're 12 and have hit puberty and shit
i think this is when they start to feel like they should be a year older than they are
like 13 in COS, 14 in POA, 15 in GOF, 16 in OOP, 17 in HBP and then 18 in DH
they just look, sound and act more like those ages
instead of the 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 they are in the respective movies

i have really vivid memories of my home stay on a school trip two years ago
we went to japan and i stayed with a girl from our sister school and her family
i had a room to myself and there was a TV and DVD player
the only movies they had were the first two HP movies
I was with them for roughly a week
I remember watching the two movies at like midnight on the last night i was staying with them
and i maybe watched them 2 or 3 times each
so i remember them well despite not seeing the other 5 movies in ages
i think thats why i find the first two so boring
oh, and when i came back i fell asleep watching COS cause it was on TV that night and i wanted to relax (i fell asleep with 30 mins left and woke up at midnight super confused cause i was on the couch)

(bathroom break but i aint pausing this shit its boring)

(i prematurely skipped it cause it was really boring and ive just moved onto POA)

(But in the flashback in CoS it shows Hagrid in Hufflepuff uniform?)

(you can't see what uniform he's wearing in the flashback. if you're going off the robe, all of them look like that and you can't see the crest cause of the lighting. and i could argue that tom's tie looks like hufflepuff colours cause of the lighting, but hes in slytherin. and hagrid is a known Gryffindor because even though he showed traits of both houses, his bravery outshone his hufflepuff traits)

Ok that chick changing her boggart from a snake to a giant jack-in-the-box does not make it any less scary

that transition from closing the wardrobe door, going towards it and then using the reflection to change back to the students looking at the wardrobe door was perfection

im not annoyed about that
but i think the least they could have done in all those flashbacks of young lily (that havent happened yet) they could at least let that girl have blue coloured contacts? to match harrys? like fuck, she has brown eyes. they arent even the colour that theyre supposed to be
