Me: Needs to sleep
Brain: Lets keep refreshing notebook!
Me: SLEEEEEP
Brain: Opens facebook games
Me: Forces tech away
Brain: We are not sleeping.
Me: You need 4 hrs sleep to function idiot.
Me: *Is currently running on less than 2 hrs sleep.

I came here in hopes of learning what ADHD is because no one ever teaches me anything in this household, but I ended up relating to every single one of these problems perfectly.

ADHD (AKA Attention Deficeit Hyper Disorder) is a brain Malfunction usually concerning the parts that control your ability to focus, and symptoms can include:
Impulsiveness,
Over stressing
Fidgetiness
inability to focus/easily spaces out
And many more,
(ALSO NOTE: Despite me being a kid with ADHD I do not know everything about the disorder, this is simply MY understanding)

Thank you!

Lucky. Anyone else plagued by this feeling that you know you can do better but it seems too hard. But like, every second you need to do something.

Late night, I had to upload a file to convert it, and it took four hours. The entire time, my brains like: Can we get on Notebook? Can we can we?
It's like no, I need bandwidth!

I've become addicted to Notebook at this point

Do you guys know what Executive Dysfunction is?
I’m not sure if it’s something people with adhd usually have or something people with adhd usually have

Yeah.
Here's one I keep having:

Me: Let's read something
Brain: Ok
Me: What book?
Brain: Yes
Proceed to read the first few chapters of like 12 different books

Okay so basically it’s kinda like extreme procrastination. Whether or not you want to do the task, you often have trouble starting said task and it majorly stresses you out. That’s why I’ll continuously refresh notebook instead of starting an essay. Like I’m just sitting there, pressing refresh internally panicking because this essay is due but for some reason I physically can’t start it. I want to but I can’t. And it’s not just with things you don’t want to do. I’ve been meaning to take a sip of my tea (my tea that’s really good) for like 10 minutes but instead I was scrolling through instagram

Am I the only one that, like, feels the hyperactivity in his joints?

Explain? Because I think my answer is no, but just to be sure I get what you're talking about

I just get, like, a weird feeling in my knees our my elbows whenever I'm feeling hyperactive. It's like hitting your funny bone, but without the pain and it gets you excited

When I'm super tired and just on the couch doing homework my legs and body will get all restless. Like I can't stop moving around and if I'm bored enough it's almost physically painful to not move my legs.
