It’s quite hard to sleep because I always find myself tapping my fingers against the wall or rolling around instead of actually, you know, sleeping
group
It takes me a solid hour to fall asleep, and that's when I'm actually tired.
or how about when you REALLY REALLY REALLY need to work on stufff but you can't stop figdeting and doing anything and everything BUT what you're supposed to???
group
What, like refreshing every two seconds even though you know everyone is asleep?
Yessssss but also trying to do work in class and Physically not being able to focus on your work, and being on here instead of working on the project that is supposed to be done on wendsday, and will not be and is due on Friday, and I have to present and I actually can't stop typing or bouncing my legs so hard I'm jittering…..
This is normal, I am stressed, and this is normal, i will be fine, so don't mind me…

I made the mistake of getting coffee with sugar this morning, and now I'm on a caffeine high and a sugar rush at the same time. Now I'm nearly bouncing off the walls and scaring my teachers. Also, I won an award for being in a "chromance" with my Chromebook. I'm getting nothing done either. We'll procrastinate together XD
EYUP!!!!!!!
*mentally is actually panicking cause I need to NOT procrastinate but I can't stop procrastinating…. I think I need help….)

We all do.
alsoI'm slightly scared that one of the kids in my class is gonna punch someone he's yelling at because he nearly did it to me once
(Offers you all the good luck in the world)

(Thanks)
I hate coffee. My stepfather made me drink a mug of it once, and then I spent a year (or was it two?) where I got really nauseas from the smell of coffee. And no. It doesn't do a thing.
Okay does caffeine like not work for anyone else? I’ve heard that’s an adhd thing. Like all coffee does is make me shaky and then make me crash hard an hour later
I start to fall asleep and then for half an hour I'm awake and then for a few hours after that I really want to sleep but I cant
Coffee/caffeine doesn't affect me at all, like nothing happens. Caffeine is a stimulant tho, so that's why some ppl with ADHD feel calmer/more focused after a cup of tea or coffee. (Btw, I'm not diagnosed with ADHD, I've just kinda been stalking this thread hah. Everything you guys say here is sooooo relatable. )
I've read this and I think I might actually have ADD.
Well thanks, Moxie! Good to know, I'll remember that since I research mental health myself and I plan to make an essay on commonly misunderstood conditions.
I'm laying down, so my leg can't bounce, but my foot started going a few minutes ago and I don't know why. I had one thought about one of my stories, something for dialogue or something, and I just

Big mood.
For me, I'm always changing positions. Rn, I have my legs on the chair and I'm sitting on the ground under the table.
Me, I'm either fidgeting, or wiggling, or changing positions.

Update: I'm now on the table with my knees on the wall.
Sounds normal.

Yeup.
Absolutely, chairs hurt my tush if I sit normally for too long. Also, sitting up now but my foot is still going.
I guarantee you I will be home and upside down working later.

Me, but they always turn out raw and folded in half.
How about:
Me: like 2 seconds away from sleep
Brain: Move your shoulder.
Me: No. Sleep.
Brain: You gotta or else.
Me: or else????
Brain: Yeah. Move it. (shoulder starting tingling like crazy)
Me: No. Sleep. Shut up, Brain.
Brain: YOU DID IT NOW BITCH–
Me: Oh shit. (Starts doing shoulder stretches despite it being 1 am and half asleep)
