What was the book about? If you don't mind me asking

(Girl) longs for love. She's an innocent, shy girl, but she feels depressed and lonely for reasons she can't explain. Her only true friend is (Boy), a boy that she has known since she was six.

In her quest for love, acceptance, and appreciation, (Girl) is abused and misled by the guys she thought loved her. How can she handle all of the pressure of romance? When one lover pushes too far, (Girl's) life gets thrown into a tailspin and she turns for the worst.

Can (Girl) ever find true love, or it is something just for fairy tales?
