(Well, most other politicians are kinda terrible, too, but we don't have time to unpack all of that. Plus, where I live, racism is still very prominent, and people don't care enough for the youth, who are our future. We also live in a culture where we promote working yourself to the death, and it's tearing people apart. That's not to say it can't be fixed, but it's going to take a lot to change what the status quo is here. But Trump is an America problem, you know, being our government's figurehead and all. And who do you think put him into office? He didn't do it all by himself. Besides, there are a lot of very problematic things he promotes, and that, once again, affects America, and very much affects the culture where I live.)

Something only dawned on me a while ago, and that is the legal age differences between the UK and America.
Drinking: UK 18, US 21
Sex: UK 16, US 18
Driving: UK 17, US between 16 and 18 (Although I don't understand why, in South Dakota, you can get a learners permit at 14)
I'd just like to know why the legal ages for drinking and sex are higher in America than over here..

Although a lot of people still drink behind closed doors, and it just leads to worse problems because it's illegal. Hell, I had a friend (19 years old, 18 at the time) who was hospitalized last year because he got blackout drunk, but no one was around to stop him from drinking too much. It's become kind of secretive and dangerous, so I don't even know what to think on the topic anymore.

There is evil creeping into those places. I doubt freedom of religion is as wide as you think. The moral core of those places is fading fast. And without that, the world crumbles. In all that I have seen, anywhere that proclaims Tolerance is intolerant to any who disagree with them.

Yeah, it's really scary. I have a friend whose school had a legit bomb threat. Mine had a shooting threat (which turned out to just be a rumor, but it was scary). It's so commonplace these days. And every time it really happens, people forget like a week later.
