How stricter? They really won’t help for schools shootings, since kids don’t go buy guns legally. Gun Ed is great, but an unskilled marksman is dangerous as well.

I didn't say that we should have banned in Marksmanship altogether, but we need better background checks, a lot stricter than we have now. I actually think carry should be legalized, as long as the weapon is visible, and the ammunition is too, not only visible but separate from the gun except for in case of emergencies

Well for one thing my grandfather entered for a gun (he has a lot already) and they didn't even check his background, they just made him ink his fingerprint and gave it to him.
Now, background checks are really only required if you purchase a gun through an FFL, which includes anywhere from your local Walmart to local businesses and such. You don't need to go through a background check if you buy a gun online, through a gun show, or through some private sales.
