@croccin-champagne

public age play

@Fraust

I just don't get how it can be a sex thing lol
Like, does she still act like a toddler when they're banging??
Is that what they're into??
Because that's kinda concerning

I mean honestly
I think it's super weird and a bit gross
but I'd rather have someone pretend to be a child in the bedroom than actually have someone be sexual with a real child

@Fraust

Well yeah, ofc
I don't condone having sex with children
It's pretty gross and also pretty illegal 👌👌

I don’t understand the sexual side of it, though I understand the psychology behind age playing..

I just finished watching a video on the Born Sexy Yesterday trope (channel was Pop Culture Detective if you wanna check it out) and it's sort of similar
It's about the trope of a female character (usually a humanoid alien, mermaid, robot, recently "born"/created science experiment, or abandoned girl who grew up in the jungle or something) who's extremely naive yet "wise beyond her years" and has the body of a sexy adult woman but the maturity of a child.

It's good I like it
The video, not the trope
The scenes with the girl with the bright orange hair made me feel so gross, like she's acting like a child why are people into her??

I made the most ungodly noise. Thank you. In all honesty though, it feels to me like people are trying to sexualise something that is an actual mental illness.
Age playing is one individual acting like a child around their partner, and the two of them have consented to this kind of behaviour. Age playing isn’t sexual, it’s just a hobby.
“Little space” (I cant remember the correct term) is something that individuals may fall into as a way of coping in certain situations. I know of a case where a woman was deemed unfit to look after her children alone due to this mental illness, but the cause of it stemmed from a traumatic experience in her childhood. She was allowed to look after her kids when her husband was there, but never alone because she couldn’t control when she would slip into “little space”. She sometimes referred to her husband as “daddy” when in this mental state because that’s the only thing she knew him as, when in this mental state she didn’t recognise her husband as her husband.

What people are doing with this now is taking it into another context. They’re taking something serious, something that people have no control over, and sexualise it just because they can. It’s disgusting, because this pokes fun at people like the aforementioned woman and they’re basically saying “oh she doesn’t have an illness, she’s just role playing as a child for pleasure.”

It’s vile, and I can’t express how angry it makes me.

As a comment on the video said, "it's like pedophilia but with extra steps"
Because there isn't much difference between having sex with a child and having sex with someone whose mindset is literally that of a child, besides the actual physical body
And the normalization of this through media is gross, "yeah she looks 15 but she's actually 2,000 years old so it's okay" and "yeah she acts like a kid, but she's in her 20s so it's okay"

@ElderGod-Icefire

On a very different note, Trump's voice makes me want to claw my ears out. It's not even what he's saying (i can't understand it, the TV is downstairs and I'm up, so all I can hear is random "china"'s) it's just his damn voice. I hate it

I'm bored so hot take: the only reason people (myself included) like The Lightning Thief Musical is because the movies drastically lowered everyone's standards and a few songs are a bop. Because it's really a little basic and it's not actually that accurate. And Luke's line "omnipotent and all-powerful" is unforgivable (can't remember the context rn but it was about the gods). How hard would it have been to write "or" instead of "and"??? Because omnipotent literally means all-powerful so saying that is fucking dumb and it really makes me angry.

And another one: the guy who didn't like musicals (the song) is Bad. It's not good and I don't like it

Also is it just me or do any of you really want to hang out with Billie Eilish? I don't follow her at all, but she seems super chill.

As someone who's only heard one of her songs (yes it was bad guy don't @ me I'm basic), agreed.

I low-key hate her music aesthetic, though I think Moxie convinced me that she didn't suck as a singer (I miss you, Mox.) I just kind of like her as a person.

Tea
I tried the music but I can't stand Annabeth's voice, and the songs just weren't that good?
Also Let It Out is the best song from TGWDLM and the title song….isn't great.
