Amyntas sighs, “I’m tired.”
"Then let's go take a nap."

He nods and starts walking back to his room.
Ariella kept holding his hand as she walked with him.

Amyntas walks back into his room and looks around. He checks under desks, the window and bathroom. He takes a sharp breath and goes to his bed, sitting down.
Ariella sat down next him, close but not touching. "You did good," she said.

He rubs his forehead, silent.

Ariella touched his arm softly, smiling at him.

Amyntas sighs, slowly rocking himself.
"You're okay, Amyntas, you're safe." Ariella pulled her legs up on the bed.

Amyntas stays quiet. He eventually lays down and hides himself under his covers.
Ariella just sat by his side, rubbing his side and back.

Amyntas stays quiet for the rest of the day, jumping at every sudden noise he hears.
Ariella stayed by his side, quiet. At some pijt she got uo and looked at the books on the shelves.

The books covers had nothing on them, but on the insides, they said what they were for. Some were just stories or fairy tales, some were encyclopedias, and some were spell books. They were all arranged not only by side and color, but also by genre.
Ariella pulled out some fairytale book and brought it back to the bed. She opened it and began to read it.

Amyntas sniffles, shaking slightly. He was cold once again.
Ariella placed one hand on his back, rubbing softly. She started to read the story out loud.

Amyntas starts shivering, covering up in more blankets.
Ariella kept reading but subtly shifted closer to him.

Amyntas was ice cold and the tips of his fingers were turning white from the cold. He whimpers softly, shivering more.
Ariella paused her reading. "What can I do for you Amyntas?"

Amyntas shakes his head, “N-no-nothing…”
Ariella sighed softly. "Come lay on my lap at least while I read."

Amyntas hesitates, then makes his way over to her, still freezing cold.
She slowly starts running her hand through his hair before starting to read aloud again.
