Ariella dipped her head to kiss the top of his head before returning to her reading. She shifted so she was laying down instead of proper up and allowed Amyntas to lay on top of her, even if he was a little heavy.

Amyntas curls into her side, shaking. If he were still, you’d think he had already froze. Amynyas whimpers softly, closing his eyes.
Ariella held him as close as she coukd without hurt himself. He was making her cold but he needed her body warmth more than she did. "Let me run you a warm bath," she murmured.

He shakes his head, quiet.
"It'll be alright. We'll sit in it together." Clothed, she meant. She was not going to get naked with someone she barely knew. "It might help warm you up."

He shakes his head again.
"Why not?" She asked.

He sighs, “I…ju-just…” he shivers again.
"What is it?" Ariella looked down at him.

“I…d-don’t…w-ant…yo-you in th-there…”
"What if we keep our clothes on? That way we won't be exposing ourselves to each other. We can just sit in the water."

He shakes his head. “I-I’m n-not wearing l-long sleeve…turtle n-necks in th-the tub…”
"Put on a regular t-shirt then, love." Ariella said.

He sighs, “No…t-too…c-old…”
"But we'll be in warm water darling." She looked at him.

He shakes his head, “I’m n-not gonna w-wear clothes in-in the tub…”
"You need to warm up. The blankets aren't working."

“Th-then water w-ont work…”
"Amyntas," she sighed. She kissed his forehead gently.

He closes his eyes, seeming to shake more.
Ariella curled around him more.

His body literally felt like ice now. He whines softly, nuzzling into her.
Ariella was shivering now but she didn't let go of him. Not once. "I've got you," she murmured. "You're alright."

Amyntas whines again, hiding his face in the sheets.
Ariella kissed his forehead again, closing her eyes.

Amyntas’ movements grow slow, and so does his breathing.
Ariella felt like she was freezing. She was shaking and breathing a little harder but she didn't move.

Amyntas’ breathing slowly comes to a stop.
Ariella blinked. He wasn't breathing. He wasn't breathing! She sat up sharply and started shaking his shoulders. "Amyntas?!"
