An RP with @TiramisuGrenouille !!!

Steve and Megan looked around, and Steve shook his head. "I don't remember this part of town being this bad…."
"T-there's no time to waste!!!" Megan said, all jumpy. "Where did you see this guy???"

He carefully sliced open Tobias' chest and pulled it back, revealing the 'heart' under the steel titanium bones. "I've always wondered how you kept going all day…." He brushed an unsanitary hand against Tobias' cold bones. "And now I'll learn your secret so I can earn billions of dollars for my idea…" He hissed through his teeth.

"I told you I never saw him!" said Skye frustrated, "And the guy who did is long gone by now. Listen we just need to search carefully."

"we also need to stay on our toes" said Rio pointing to someone down on the street. "Marceo's here."

What!? Megan scowled. What the hell is Marceo doing here!? "Then let's hop to it." She found an easy way down, and Steve followed her.
"How on earth did I get dragged into this?" He hissed.
"What? Are you telling me you don't care about Tobias?"
"Now isn't the time to bicker. We have to find him." But personally, no one knowns where he went.

Skye and Rio lept down, and Skye started scanning the area the way he had before, keeping a special eye on Marceo's position. "First off we can't let Marceo see me or Rio" said Skye, "who knows what he'll do if he sees us"

"Second we find Tobias" said Rio, "Skye can you set up a link? it'll be easier if we split up"

Skye nodded, "But I'll need everyone's consent first." he looked pointedly at Steve and Megan.

They advertedly nodded. "Sure thing."
And with that, they split up, all while avoiding Marceo's line of sight.

Skye had set up the link, and had contact with everyone. Everyone check in! he called out to the others as he ran with Steve.

Rio heard Skye clearly, "I gotcha buddy!" he answered, "We'll find Tobias!

Megan and Steve checked into the link.
Holy cow! Steve said, totally astonished. I can actually hear you guys, even though you're far away!
He continued down the street while Megan crossed it and went off on another block. Did you ever tell us who you had that rivalry with, Steve?

"I'm pretty sure he mentioned some Ken guy…" said Skye, ignoring Steve's astonishment.

Steve stopped for a moment. It was Ken…. Ken…. Gosh I can't remember his last name!! I think it was… White?…. Something…

Guys we might have a problem! Rio stared as Marceo came out of one alley talking with someone else, Sending a mental image of what he'd seen, Skye isn't that the guy you described earlier?!
Yeah it is! Skye used his powers to send everyone a mental map, Everyone! Zero in on Rio's location!

Steve and Megan began to approach, but he was a bit confused. Wait, where on earth is he??

Megan still made her way until she could see Marceo, but was still hidden. Okay now what am I supposed to do?

Rio came up next to her, "Over there" he pointed to Marceo, who was talking to a tall dark haired man.

"What about him….?" She uttered very lowly. She didn't seem to recognize him since he wasn't facing them and she couldn't see his face.

(Is this the witness or the guy that kidnapped him?)

(No this is Ken!!! Talking to Marceo!! I'm trying to make thing's more interesting without having two separate plots! :D)
"That's the guy who kidnapped Tobias" said Skye, "It has to be"

(Oof I thought he was in his building disecting Tobias…. oh well.)

Megan nodded shallowly. Maybe… but it would help if I could see his face…

Steve managed to meander over to where Megan and Skye were. He had a glance over and saw the man that Marceo was talking to. Then his name hit him like a brick Now I remember! He thought. That’s Ken Whitestone!!!

(probably got a text from Marceo to meet up??)
"Ken whitestone??" asked Skye, still trying to figure out what they should do next…

(Well okay then)

He was my co-worker back in the day…. Steve said, flashing back a little bit. We used to be quite good friends… until I decided to build Tobias for a robotic competition… and for the sake of my own well-being. He wanted to make sure I wasn’t better than him, or whatever jealousy he had… but I came back on top… and now I’m paying the price, I suppose…

"We need to see what they're up to" said Skye, "But we can't risk getting any closer…"

“Can’t you just see what they’re thinking?” Steve asked in a hushed voice. There has to be some kind of way to see what they’re talking about.

"I can't risk it around Marceo" said Skye, "He knows about me and Rio, and we have no way of knowing if he won't sense it or not…" he kept trying to think of something, when they suddenly moved off.

“Well, we have to follow him! Every minute we waste, Tobias is getting deeper and deeper in trouble!” Steve hissed.
“If we follow them, I bet Ken will lead us right to him!” Megan said, clenching her fist. I would have the police on this matter, but they have no business in finding my sibling…..

"Right" said Skye, warping up to the rooftops and tracking the two bullies. "Stay back with Rio,"

“If you insist…” Steve said.
But within a few minutes, the two of them grew extremely anxious, their minds filling with all sorts of what-ifs and that kind of thing.
Megan frowned. I just want him back….

"You two need to cool it" said Rio, "now come on" he led them calmly down the street.

“Well it’s hard to do that when your beloved brother is in danger!” Megan hissed, her throat becoming sore with sadness. Honestly I should be at home…. this isn’t really a job for me if I’m gonna keep being like this.
“It’s okay, we’re gonna find him and finally put Ken in his place,” Steve told her reassuringly. There has to be some hope in this issue…. But what does that other man want with Tobias???

"Try being me.." said Rio in a low tone. "Both of my brothers are in danger right now.. and my baby brother could be dying…" he said it as he kept walking, leading them in Skye's wake.

“That’s where we run into a rut,” Steve gritted his teeth. “There’s this problem where we need to get you and Skye back to where you belong, but we’ve prolonged it for some time that it’s taking a toll on all of us.”
Megan nodded, rubbing her eyes and yawning. “Unfortunately…. I’m not sure how long I can be out here since I have another day of work tomorrow…”

"I would think that Tobias is a little more important than work" said Rio, "Besides this may just come to a head soon enough"
Skye watched as the two men, Ken and Marceo, came out of the building with a stretcher, it was disguised with a cloth, and they had two men with boxes of equipment. Ken soon waved the men off and got into the van, and began head towards the outskirts of town. Skye put on his top speed, and ran after them as fast as he could, barely keeping up, he also quickly read the minds of the two lackeys, "Rio!! Marceo and Ken are heading out of town, I'm not sure where they're headed, but they have Tobias with them!!" quickly read the minds of the two lackeys, "I'm following them on foot as we speak, I'll do everything I can to find out where they're headed!"
Rio froze when he heard Skye's message, "We found him!" he said turning to Megan and Steve, "But they're all headed out of town. and they have Tobias"

"What on earth does Ken want with Tobias!?" Steve growled, heading out into the street.
Megan followed. "Well, I think it would be best if we followed by car… Because it'll take forever to just go on foot…."

Rio nodded, warping them back to Megan's house, and falling to one knee with the effort. "we need to get moving, asap."
