An RP with @TiramisuGrenouille !!!

Skye noticed that Steve seemed tenser than before and backed away. Shifting he lay down in the corner, watching as he dozed off.

Steve removed all the wires and dug into a box, soldering them onto the strange brass circle things. (I don't care I'm just making things up). Precision…. He thought defiantly. He wiped his brow. Now time to connect them to the other half…

Skye eventually fell asleep, tired from the excessive use of his power, and the amount of running he'd done.
(Yeah, I don't care as long as it more or less sounds accurate… :D)

(Ye sure)

Steve worked long and diligently, pressing himself to make sure he was able to get it done.
Many many minutes later, the wires of both halves were hooked and soldered with one another. "There…." He said quietly, wiping sweat off his brow with his forearm. That's done… He put the halves together carefully and began putting the screws back in.

Skye got up, shifting as he stared out the window. I hope Alzura's alright he thought.

(Sorry… have to watch my baby sister.. might be awhile before I can risk a long response.)

Steve glanced back as Skye shifted. I really do feel bad for those guys….. being put in the spotlight like that… it must be tough to live in an entirely different world…. He took the sphere in his gloved hands and strode delicately to the table where Tobias was. That’s why it’s important to make sure we get what we need for them to go back from Marceo before he dies and all is lost…. He clenched his jaws at the thought of keeping Marceo alive for merely a second. But it’s what needs to be done.

(I'm back… for a little bit anyway)
Rio swam deeper and deeper into the dark seas deep below the surface. They had long since entered the twilight zone, and Rio had lit a couple of blue orbs, not to mention his and Alzura's scales began to glow softly in the the darkening water.
Soon, after they had begun to enter the midnight zone, Rio felt Alzura begin to stir. Must be his natural healing magic he thought, slowing a little.

(Yee. No one else is on in the rps and it’s making me feel a bit sad :’D)

Steve set the sphere on the cart on a clean cloth, turning to Tobias. I’m so sorry…. He thought, cutting his chest open with a clean scalpel. He stared long at the empty spot where Ken tore out his energy source. How could he do such a thing…. Ken may be evil, but not that evil… unless Marceo paid him to… He turned on the electric generator and got to work trying to remove his metallic bone in order to place the sphere back in where it belongs.

Skye turned around when he heard the humming, senseing the strong, angry thoughts from Steve.

Steve got his child’s rib bones out and set them aside. “Let’s get this done… For his sake….” And everyone else’s… He grabbed the sphere in his hand and wiped more sweat off his head. I’ve never had to do this since I did it for the first time….

Megan stirred a bit and nearly came out of her deep sleep, but went back and slipped back under.

Rio slowed his pace a bit more, his powerful fins still pushing them downward, his arms wrapped around Alzura's chest. Rio felt Alzura stirr even more, and just as Rio had spotted a deep sea mount.
Rio headed for the mount, laying Alzura on a relatively flat rock as Rio summoned his blue aura. Placing one hand on Alzura's forehead, and the other on his chest, he began transferring pure, ocean based strength.

Steve continued to work, slipping the sphere into the socket. "Perfect…." He removed the old wires and set them aside, and was about to grab another one when – "Oh dear…." He frowned. "I'm out of new wires…." I knew I should've ordered some when I had the chance…

Skye looked over, "You ok?" he asked quietly.

Steve shook his head. "I'm just out of new wires…." He glanced around a bit frantically. I know I have some stowed away somewhere…. He went over to the storage room and opened it up, heading inside. He looked around for them, but no luck. How can I not have any more wires!?

Skye came over, placing a hand on Steve's shoulder, "Hey, Are you sure you're ok?"

Steve flinched and whirled around. It was only Skye. "I'm a bit far from okay," He said honestly. "If I don't have any more wires, then…." He shook his head. Bad things….

"Any chance we can borrow some from another room?" asked Skye,

"I'm not sure if that'd be a good idea…" Steve slipped out and paced in the room. "This is my room, so I keep track of what kinds of things come in. But if I just use someone else's, it may just ruin the entirety of Tobias." And that's a risk I refuse to take…

"Any chance we can get more?" asked Skye

"I have no idea…." Steve scratched his head. "I mean…. I don't know if we can find any of the ones that I use just by looking around."

"Great" said Skye "any chance Megan would have them?"
(Im assuming they have different labs)

(Actually, nope, they don't surprisingly :) Pulled a sneaky one on ya. They share one. Dunno why. They just do.)

Steve shrugged. "I highly doubt it…" This is what I was afraid of…. He exited the lab and went across the hallway to check the overflow supplies. Maybe they're in here….

Skye watched him go. hopefully things turn out alright

Steve ruffled through some stuff and found some wires. I really hope these work…. He returned back to the lab and back to the table. "I think these might work…. I don't have the slightest idea however."

Skye gave him a reassuring look, hoping he was right.

(To speed things up because I'm bored)

Steve put the sphere back and soldered the wires on the brass strip to hold it in place.
He weilded the bones back into his ribcage efficiently. Steve finally sealed his skin off and tugged the kid's shirt down over his chest. "That should do it…" If he starts complaining, I'll know why.

Skye watched, "Is he fixed?" he asked hopefully.

"I suppose…." Steve sighed. They were all I could really find…. He turned off the machine and took the pads off the kid's face.
And all they did was wait a bit.
Please let this work….

Skye watched with growing curiosity and concern, but didn't say a word.

Rio watched Alzura's face for movement as he finished his spell, having done all he could. After waiting what seemed an eternity Alzura finally came to, "Wha…. wha happened….." he murmured, his voice barely audible,
"Not sure little brother, but you've been out for days…" said Rio his face alight with relief.
