An RP with @TiramisuGrenouille !!!

"Hm?" Megan accidentally was caught up in some unfinished work when she arrived at home. "What's that? Is it something really… Bad?"

Tobias began to whine and soon hollered in bawling tears, "It hurts so bad!!!!" He cried, standing up. "I can't take this anymore!!!"

Steve had fallen asleep in the bathroom (lol) when he heard Tobias shouting about in the living room. Dammit!!! I knew that was a terrible idea!!!

"I think it might have something to do with all that craziness earlier." said Skye, "Honestly I have no clue what's wrong but it looked like he was in pain…."
Rashi looked over in alarm when Tobias burst into tears, "What's wrong?"

"Pain???" Don't tell me that moron Ken did something else to him!!! Megan flew out of her chair and was on her way downstairs.

Tobias whined and whimpered, continuing to bawl. "It hurts so bad!!!" He clutched his chest this time, his head getting dizzy. What on earth is going on!!!?

Steve finished up as fast as he could, but began to fumble under adrenaline and dropped the hand towel in the toilet bowl. Dammit! I can't do anything with wet hands! He began to wave them around and air dry them.

Rashi stared, not sure what to do, then he carefully took hold of the kid and forced him to sit down, "Just calm down…" he said, refusing to let panic show in his voice as he did his best to soothe the kid.

Tobias cried no matter what Rashi tried to do. "It burns!!!" Where the heck is Steve and Megan!?

Megan finally got down there and she was able to get to Tobias. "Tobias!!!" She did what she thought was right and swooped him up in her arms and shut him down on the back of his neck. He was quiet and motionless within a millisecond, and she let out a long breath. "That was too close…"

Rashi blinked when the kid went quiet, "What's wrong with him?" he asked, still half in shock.

"I don't know. It might be what Steve used to fix him. Or maybe Ken did other things to him…." She growled, laying him on the sofa. "I honestly don't know…"

Steve rushed out. "What happened!? Is everyone –" He cut off when he came into the living room. "…What happened?"

Skye came down the stairs a worried look on his face.
Rashi had moved out of the way, wind seeming to pick up in the room out of nowhere as he tried to figure out what to do.
"Tobias kept complaining that something was hurting him, and then he started yelling." Said Skye quietly.

Steve slumped. "Of course. I should've known those wires weren't safe!!" He barked. I really don't want to put him in the lab again, but the longer I wait, the more he's at risk for a permanent shutdown…. He tapped his foot. "I suppose I'll have to operate on him again tomorrow. I can take him to my place and repair him."
"But Tobias has school tomorrow!" Megan protested.
"That isn't going to change anything. He still needs to be worked on and I can send him in the day after…." It's the only way…. He frowned. I'm sorry…

Skye put a hand on Steve's shoulder, "any chance you would know how to get more of the wires you need?" He asked, "as much as I'd like to take a nap right now, I can take you just about anywhere in the city to get them."

"Unfortunately, the wires are imported from a city far across the entire country, and we get shipments monthly, maybe weekly, I'm not sure…" Steve rolled his shoulder to get Skye's hand off. "But either way, I'm sure that there should be some in the institute, and I'm not looking hard enough…." And it almost cost Tobias his functionality….

"If you can give me an exact location I think I can get you that far in a few minutes" said Skye summoning an orb of aura. "My main skills are teleportation and telepathy so I may as well use 'em"

"Erm," Steve stammered, "I think we should…. Just use my car… Then we can telepport and all that snazzy defying stuff." He picked up Tobias in his arms and nodded at Megan. "I'll see you tomorrow at work."
She waved goodbye as Steve went out the door, and then she collapsed into a chair of exhaustion. I could use a nap….

Skye watched him go. i dont think he understands the fact that I can literally get him there within minutes… he thought. Letting himself flop on the floor, shifting and yawning, deciding to take that nap while there was peace enough to do so, forcing away his concerns for tobias for the time being.

(Whoa oof i meant have skye get in the car with him but whatever, lol)

Megan sat back. "I should get to bed…." She glanced around with lazy eyes and stood up, wobbling a little, then glanced at Rashi. "You staying here?"

"I guess so" said Rashi. "Ill probably end up hanging out on the roof later…" he said twirling his little tornado again absentmindedly.

I really will never understand their thing with… Rooftops…. "You sure?" She raised an eyebrow, yawning. "I have beds here…"

Steve arrived at the place and carried Tobias from his car and back up to his laboratory. He set the child on the table and he sat down in his chair, soon slumping over hopelessly. "Why….?" He put his head on his desk. "I knew it was a bad idea in the first place, why did I do it!?" He pounded a fist. "I put his entire functionality in danger! I'm lucky it was only electric current disturbances…."

"I'm good," said Rashi, "Honestly just being inside a house is pretty unusual for me, and definitely for him" he gestured to Skye, who had fallen into a deep sleep.

"….If you insist…." Megan got off the chair and went upstairs to get ready for bed.

Steve almost began crying. "I have no idea why I thought rebonding with my child was a good idea…." He wiped his face and put his head on the table. "And things are just getting worse and worse as more of those magic people are getting pulled into this place…." He scratched his head. Uuugh…. I have no idea what to do anymore….

Rashi watched as she went upstairs, deciding to head outside.

Megan got ready for bed and went to sleep when she was ready. Goodnight everyone on my property….

Steve sighed, a restless soreness settling in his throat. "This isn't gonna do me any damn good." He stood up and headed over to the door. "I need to find more of those wires and get him fixed asap…."

Rashi sighed, heading out to the back yard, wind picking up as soon as he was outside. soon he was levitating up to the roof. Nice view he thought, settling back on the tile.

Steve went in every lab to search for those special wires. Dang nabbit… Someone has to have these around here somewhere….
After an hour or so of searching, he found a small tub in another overflow supply closet. He headed back quickly to Tobias and shut the door. Now it's time to get back to work….
He put the boy under his electrical anesthesia and went to work diligently.

(Time skip? I guess)

(yeah, But I will be back later… My mom is making me do stuff…)

Skye was up early the next morning, and had gotten into the kitchen and pulled out an apple as he mentally scanned for signs of Marceo and Ken's whereabouts..
(Sorry!!! We had flooding in our basement right after I came back….)

Megan had woken up that morning and headed downstairs for her morning coffee. “G’ morning, Skye,” She said tiredly, grabbing a mug from the cabinet. I really hope he has him under control….

Steve had worked all night replacing every single one of Tobias’ faulty wires, and was extremely sleep deprived. “Perfect,” He said with a tiring huff. “He’s finally fixed…..” He removed the electrical anesthisia and waited for the kid to wake up.

(Yeah.. I think it was taken care of though…)
Skye looked up, startled out of his trance. "Oh.. hey Megan." he sighed. "Do you think Steve has a plan to get Tobias fixed?"

(Oh that’s good)

Megan nodded. “I think he has his things taken care of…. I might call him later though just to make sure, or maybe check on him when I get to work.” She filled her mug up and sat at the counter. “So what’s the issue with Rio’s sibling???” (Assuming she knows bout him???)

Steve watched intently as Tobias woke up once again. “What….. what happened???” He asked softly. What is going on with me? That’s the second time I’ve blacked out since I can remember…

"Not sure" said Skye, "But I think Alzura should be ok now, he and Rio checked in yesterday… I'll check on them in a minute…"
