"Well, that's great!" She smiled. "It's not that he can't go to school by himself, it's just I'm afraid that he'll get in some serious trouble…"
Tobias glanced at Skye. "I should be fine as long as I have someone with me."
Skye smiled, "It's no problem" he said.

Tobias woke up, and it was 6:30 in the morning. He got out of bed and wandered downstairs where Megan was fluffing around with all her stuff. "I'm gonna be late again…" She muttered, and she saw him come down and told him, "Remember, don't leave the house without Skye and make sure you have all your stuff… Which reminds me that you should get the stuff you missed yesterday because of that incident… Remind Skye also to help me with writing and that a little later today… And just don't forget to do your chores when you get home! I'll see you later!"
And she was out the door.
Sometimes, I feel like she should get a different job… Tobias frowned a little.
Skye watched as she left, "Well I'm good to go as soon as you are" he said cheerfully. "I taught Firiko the process you taught me last night, so He'll take over the writing. I will be out most of the day and depending on what I find I might not be back until much later." he said, knowing Megan would worry he had neglected to tell her this but he figured he'd better tell someone.
(Btw I will be going soon and won't be back for awhile, (blame the fitness test I have to do today))
(That's understandable, yah. Return when you feels. Your body might be dead, but hopefully not your brain.)
"That's alright. I'll tell her when I get the chance." Tobias pulled some juice out of the fridge. "Which will probably when I get home… Are you sure you don't want anything to eat before we leave? It'll be some time– I still have to get dressed and such…"
"Kid I've been up since the sun rose" said Skye with a laugh, "I had breakfast with Megan!"
Firiko and Rio poked their heads in from the living room, "He's not the only one Tobias," said Firiko, "We've all been up for ages"
Tobias smiled awkwardly. "Alright then…" How can they get up that early voluntarily? They don't have anywhere to go… Except that Skye needs to walk me to school… But what can I expect? For them to behave the same way we do??? They are from a different world after all… He went upstairs and took care of himself before returning back downstairs with his stuff. "I should be able to go in a minute or two…"
" Take your time kiddo" said Skye. "I'm in no hurry"
"I would take my time, but I like to get there a little early so I'm not too rushed when I get there…" Tobias drank the juice he set out for himself and saddled up. "Alright… I think I'm ready to head out."
"Lead the way!" Said Skye with a sweeping bow as he opened the door.
Tobias smiled brightly. "No need for a grand exit– or entrance, one of the two…" He made sure Skye shut the door before they were on their way down the street. Hopefully, today will be a better day for me and everyone else….
Skye followed Tobias down the street noting alleyways, people, shops, etc. as they went. "So what do you do in school my freind?" He asked Tobias.
"All we do is get taught the simple things in life to help contribute to the human race progress as a society, I suppose…." Tobias wasn't really sure how to explain it in more basic terms. "…I mean… I already know most of the stuff that my classmates are just getting introduced to, and it makes me the slightest irritated that I'm getting taught something I already know." When will Megan let me test out of all those pointless classes???
"Well It's probably better than trying to catch up on everything everyone else your age already knows and you don't" he knowingly, Trying to catch up is an understatement…. Especially when I have to lead the people who require me to know the stupid info! I mean who even cares about the lineage of the Nightshade Riders?? he thought knowing his younger brothers would quiz him mercilessly when he got back, weather he'd studied or not.
"That's true… And then all the kids might just flock to me for answers…" He shrugged his shoulders. "It's how people are. They just want the easy way out most of the time." They turned a corner, and the school was easily in sight. "And look at that– we're already here."
Skye followed him into the courtyard, "You good from here?" he asked.
"I should be. And I can assume… Well… That someone needs to walk me home… And if you're out and about… Then Rio might have to come and get me." Tobias stopped before the entrance. If Firiko is writing on the computer…
"When does your School let out?" asked Skye, "I can be back here in time to walk you home, And don't worry about Firiko if he has any trouble I will be able to sort it out from wherever I happen to be. Alright?" he smirked at Tobias confusion,
"We get out at about 2:50 in the afternoon," Tobias said, trying to avoid harsh glares from some kids. "And… Well, I'll see you then!" He waved to Skye before heading on inside.
Skye waved at him before turning and walking on down the street. Now to investigate the backside of this city he thought to himself as he turned down an alley and hopped up on a dumpster, and climbed to the roof of the building.
Tobias was on his way to his locker when a group of kids approached him (ohoh noes….).
"Hey," One barked out to him, and he glanced up. "You were that kid that got wrecked by that car yesterday…. Right?"
He was a tad confused, but he nodded. "Yeah."
"So tell me," He smirked. "How many bones did ya break?" They began sniggering.
"None," He said, going about his business.
"Well, you must be some kind of weirdo with those lime eyes of yours!"
They sauntered off, and he knew he was up for a somewhat bad day. That's the last thing I need…

Skye walked casually over the rooftops before breaking into a dead run. rooftop running, One of my Favourite pastimes! he let out a whoop of joy as he began leaping over the gaps between the rooftops, noting that most of the city was in good shape it wasn't long before his instincts led him to a rather shady area, Perfect! he thought, Time to investigate and see what I'll dig up!
He headed for his first class, and as he thought, everyone was trying to hound him about all his injuries and such.
"What was it like?"
"Did you break any bones?"
"How come you're feeling well only after a day?"
Tobias tried to ignore them, and they eventually went away as class started. This is why I don't like this place… But Megan says it's good for my social skills… Although I can do just the same out and about with real adults.
Skye lept down into the alley and looked around. he knew that all eyes were secretly on him, and he didn't really care. Ok facts, The guy we think brought us here had a place like the one where Megan fixed Tobias, but it was a lot dirtier, which I'm guessing isn't normal. Two whoever brought us here wanted something, but we don't know what. Three, the guy who brought us here is pretty conspicuous, considering that no one else I saw was wearing anything anywhere close to that outfit. he thought to himself as he wandered down the darker, twisting streets. he turned into another street and was surrounded by a group of thugs, led by a skinny guy. "Who are you and why are you on my turf?" he demanded. Skye shrugged, not wanting to cause trouble he humoured the guy,
"My names Tuko," he lied, "I'm here looking for information, nothing more, nothing less." he said lightening the aversion enchantment he'd put on his Blades. (They are still armed, But Skye put an enchantment that makes sure no one actually registers that they're there.)
The skinny man stepped forward, coming level with Skye and they locked eyes, "You're lying" he said flatly,
"Only in name mate" responded Skye unfased.
"What kind of info?" asked the skinny man,
"That depends" said Skye,
"On what?"
"What do you have to offer?"
"Plenty" the man said with a bow beckoning for Skye to follow as he strode down the street.
(If there are any customs for this city's underworld or anything important that you want to add in for the info this guy will give Skye then take over in the next post.)

Tobias survived through the first half of the day, and instead of eating lunch like everyone else, he sat at the edge of a table away from everyone else. How am I supposed to interact with eyes like these? He rubbed at them a little. Lime eyes… Why are my eyes so bright anyways?
Those same kids from that morning came by, and they stopped by him. "Hey lime-eyes– what you up to? Probably wishing you could change the way you look just like everyone else…"
"Leave me alone," Tobias said sternly.
"Or what?" He smirked. "Or you'll pretend to stare us down to go away?" (Ooof they're aren't many insults for eye color…)
He stood up. "I said to leave me alone."
(take over = use the character to do/say something to add to the story.)
The skinny man slipped inside a building and Skye followed warily. The skinny guy crashed in a couch and motioned for Skye to take the one across from him. Skye took it then waited for the skinny guy to speak first.
"So your in town for info huh?" asked the skinny man,
"Yes"
"What Kind of info?" the skinny guy motioned for Skye to speak,
"I need info on a specific man and where he is, what he does, and why." said Skye bluntly.
"hmm, I might be able to help, See I'm a nice guy, Not a money bags or a power hungry person, I'm just out there for the little people, And when ya play nice, well, lets say that things aren't always free later on. I deal in info, If I can't tell you something then I'll look into it. But let me warn you, my info is free til you walk out that door. And as long as you don't cause trouble you're welcome back in too, But info when you come back isn't free, and it'll cost ya quite a bit!" the man laughed, "So ask away my freind, ask away!"
Skye paused for a moment, noting the exact wording of the man's terms. "Alright, First off how well do you know the goings on in this town?" asked Skye
"I know everything in this town! and if I dont I can find out!" replied the man.
"Do you know of anyone looking into the process of traveling to other worlds?"
"Yes, yes I do!"
"Can you give me a name?"
(Imma stop here cause I'm pretty sure the villain was one of your characters?)
(Um… Not really…. I never really had something in mind for a name… I think I had one in mind, but I kinda forgot it…. Name him whatever you feels, bruh.)
The kid smirked. "Yeah, yeah, we will once when you ask your parents why you have such horrendous eyes!" He shoved him.
Tobias got slightly infuriated, and punched the kid's gut, knocking the wind right outta him.
His posse was a bit surprised on how strong someone with hardly any muscle was.
"You wanna fight?" The kid's face got red with an embarrassed anger. "I'm not gonna let a skinny shrimp like you beat me like that!"
Tobias put his arms up defensively. Oh well…. He aggressed me first…
(Oooo Drama for Tobias!)
The Skinny man answered, "Marceo"
"Marceo huh? What does he normally do for a living?"
"he works in the science labs, But recently there have been rumors that he's gone Underground with some of his work."
"What kind of work?"
"Well rumors say he's discovered a new power source"
"New Power source? What kind?"
"Magic"
"Magic? I thought that was a myth?"
"It never was, magic in this world died out a long time ago but its still here, just not as vibrant as before and most people have forgotten that."
"So this Marceo, he's harvesting magic as a power source?"
"yup,"
"but what does this have to do with other dimensions?"
"Other dimensions have magic! He wants it to power his machines, and he'll make billions too."
"But where is he getting the power from exactly? is it just a supply waiting to be utilized?"
"No one knows, but there have been rumors, faint ones, that he's harvesting it from people and creatures from these other worlds."
"I thought you said you knew everything that went on in this town"
"I do, But this stuff, it's new."
"I need solid info, not just faint rumors."
"then come back later tonight and I'll have it"
"If you dont mind I think I'll stay here and wait"
"Wait?! But don't you have other things to do?"
"yes but they can wait, after all you did say that coming back for info after I walked out that door would cost me quite a bit, so I figure the information is free until I walk out that door"
"Why you…"
"And you yourself said that if there was something you didn't know you'd find it out" said Skye triumphantly
"you got me" said the man shaking his head, "I did say all those things… And I'll live up to my word, I'll have more info tonight. And while you're here don't expect any hospitality from me." he said getting up,
"I wasn't counting on any" said Skye standing and moving to a corner, watching as the guy gave orders to his men. I guess I won't be walking Tobias home today after all thought Skye, I hate going back on my word but this may be my only chance to get the info I need… he sighed, Rio! I need you to head down to the school to walk Tobias home, you'll have to pick him up at 2:50, I was going to bring him home with me but I'm a bit held up on a lead at the moment, I probably wont be back until later tonight. he mindcalled, after mentally telling Rio how to get to the school, and mentally checking on Firiko, he settled in for a nap.

Tobias was on his way out when those same kids were watching him from afar, but didn't approach them.
People and their kids got in cars or on buses to go home and do their homework.
However, he stood, waiting for Skye. He said he'd be here… Or did he forget? Nonetheless, he waited, hoping there was no one left to tease him about his neon eyes….
Rio jogged up to the school, finally! I hope Tobias isn't mad that I'm late "Tobias!" he called as he ran up, "I'm here to walk you home kiddo!" he said smiling
