Tobias spotted Rio and recognized his voice. "You're here to walk me home?" He smiled, yet he was also concerned… "But where's Skye? He said he was gonna walk me home… Did something happen?" Don't tell me he got in some trouble…
"Skye managed to find a lead on the guy who brought us here, but it's taking longer than he expected to get the info" he told me that he'd be back at the house sometime tonight," said Rio cheerfully, "Don't worry about a thing kiddo, Skye's a good guy and he can take care of himself"
"Well, I guess that's good then," Tobias began to lead the way home. "Hm… And today I guess went better, regarding the fact I didn't get hit by a car again. But it was still not the best it could've been." What's wrong with my eye color?… Is it that bad? "D– Do you think my eyes are colored funny?" He stammered, glancing up at Rio.
"No weirder than anyone else I know, Hey at least yours are somewhat normal, Skye's eyes are violet!" said Rio as they came up to the house,
Tobias flashed a small smile, but frowned. "That's true…" But… I don't understand why they have to make fun of my eye color when… I don't even know why they would in the first place….
"People always pick on what's different from everyone else!" said Rio, "I mean look at Skye, he has to lead his people and he's not even a full wolf! and then me, I'm part Air elemental but I'm always doing stuff for the Aqarios spiritari, None of the other demias like me very much, and they used to tease me too, and they still do! I could keep going too kiddo," said rio in an attempt to make Tobias feel better,
Tobias felt a little better. Were they just jealous? But who would want eyes brighter than limes? "I guess it just doesn't make any sense…" He muttered, approaching the front door. I'll never really understand… He got inside, holding the door for Rio.
Rio followed him in "I supposed you have homework or something?" He asked ignoring the spotless floors and kitchen.
"Yeah… It usually takes me five minutes or so." Tobias wandered upstairs to his desk and plopped down in his chair. Just forget about them… They'll go away… He pulled his book out and got to work.
Rio didn't bother watching as he went back downstairs to finish making things spotless down there. Firiko came in a few minutes later and sat down next to Tobias. "Have a good day?" He asked
"Kinda…" He uttered, continuing to finish up his work. "Went better than yesterday… I suppose…" Tobias scratched at his head. It still confuses me on why they would do that….
Firiko nodded and went back into the living room, and came back with the puzzle from yesterday. "Wanna help me finish this when you're done with homework?" he asked
He glanced over from his desk and saw Firiko with the puzzle. "Sure I can. It should only take me a few more minutes anyway…." Tobias finished off the homework in his book and filled out a mere worksheet before putting it all away. That seemed too easy…
Firiko smiled when Tobias put his book away. He would prefer flying over being stuck in here.. but this was good too.
Tobias put the puzzle flat on the floor of his room and sat with Firiko to finish it up. They only had a little bit to go before they finished it entirely. He continued on, and it helped him put attention on something else besides his eye color. "So what did Rio do all day? If you were typing and Skye was off doing something, then…"
"He was cleaning.." said Firiko putting a large section together.
"….Cleaning???" Tobias froze. "You mean like cleaning the house?" Oh dear…. "He didn't happen to go through Megan's office, did he?" That can be pretty bad…
"I didnt move anything" said Rio as he came up the stairs. "I just dusted and washed. And if I had to move something I put it right back where it was." He said sitting down to help with the puzzle.
Tobias sighed with relief. "That's good… Because she has a certain way of keeping stuff, and if someone moves it, it drives her crazy… She's a busy, busy person, she doesn't have time to look for stuff…"
They continued to piece it together and waited for Megan and Skye to come back home.

(YESSS but i'm Timeskipping till much later that night, Like 10PM)
Skye yawned as he waited for the guy's men to come back. Over the course of the afternoon he'd learned that the Skinny Man's name was Carlos, and that he ran an Informative industry, In other words he made a living out of knowing everything that went on in the city. "Carlos!"
"Yess" Carlos was getting very annoyed with him.
"When are your men coming back?"
"Soon"
(Ooh okay.)
Tobias was in bed when he was waiting for Skye to come back.
Megan peeked back into his room a bit later and sighed. "Tobias, you need to go to bed… The others said Skye would be back soon."
"But he's been gone since he left me at school in the morning…." He frowned. "What if he got in trouble?"
"I told you, Rio and Firiko said he is just fine… Now go to bed, it's not the weekend quite yet."
Rio and Firiko watched as Megan came back downstairs, "He will be fine" said Firiko when he saw her worried face.
(Btw there is an hour's time lapse between now and when Skye gets back.)
Skye watched as a man came in and spoke quickly with Carlos, Carlos beckoned to him a few minutes later.
Skye went over and studied the other guy, "So, do you have my info or what?" asked Skye
"Yeah I have yo info" said the street rat.
"Then give it" said Skye, the street rat looked at Carlos and Carlos beckoned for him to spill.
"Alright," said the street rat "It goes like this, yes yo man Marceo is harvesting magic from living beings, human and inhuman. Some of my pals say he had three men in his lair a few days ago, they said that one had feathered wings. anyway no one knows where these guys are, but Marceo wants 'em back. Now thing is is that Marceo suspects that they be powerful people. Which means a lot of energy, and when these guys run out o' energy to give then he's gonna kidnap more. And get this! those guys he had, they're supposedly from another world! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get much else in the time frame given…." the man shook his head,
"Thats fine by me," said Skye turning to Carlos, "Thanks for your hospitality mate" he said cordially, before walking out the door and breaking into a run.
After he'd gone down a few blocks he warped himself up onto the rooftops and began heading back to the others. "Let Megan know I'm on my way back now" he said to Firiko telepathically.
Megan sighed. "It's not that I'm worried ot anything… It's just that I thought this whole thing wouldn't take legitimately all day…." One could say he got into trouble… But I can also guess that he's on his way back… "…Well, I'm heading for bed– I have yet another day of work tomorrow…" And she headed up to bed.
Firiko nodded, "In case you were wondering he's on his way back now" He said.
"Wait he's on the way back?" asked Rio, "How come he tells you and not me?"
"He told you last time." said Firiko mildly.
Skye ran silently over the roof tops, it took him about 15 minutes to get back to Megan's house, And that was with him warping (Equivalent of teleporting but you don't just have to be in sight range.) every 10 feet. When he saw Megan's house he warped down and landed in the backyard. "Firiko! wanna get the door for me?" he asked mentally as he came up to the back door.
Firiko suddenly stood up, "Just give me two seconds to let him in!" he said quietly as he went over to the back door.
Megan held on for a second and came back down just to make sure Skye made it back alright. I hope the city wasn't too much trouble…
Skye came in with Firiko and waved when he saw Megan, "I would've thought some of you would have been asleep by now!" he said quietly,
"Well, Tobias went to bed an hour ago, and I was just about to when Firiko went and opened the door…" Megan brushed at her ginger hair a little. "But… What exactly took you so long to get back?" Just the slightest curious. I wonder what he could've done that took about eighteen hours….
"Had to wait for a guy to get some info for me. he said the info on the subject would be free until I walked out the door, he also said that if he didn't know something he'd get the info, " said Skye with a shrug, " He didn't have the info I needed so he went to go get it, I stayed and took a nap cause I don't have cash on me. It was either wait, or pay a heafty price, So I waited, I got lucky on the fact that the guy honored what he said. So I wasn't gonna push it by upping his timeframe."
"I will never understand how you do this Skye," said Rio from the floor,
"Backstreet know-how" shrugged Skye, flopping on the couch.
"If you guys don't mind, I'll be heading to bed…. We have a big day tomorrow, and I don't want to screw something up by being incredibly deprived of sleep… I'll see you in the morning." She headed up and peeked in to see if Tobias was actually sleeping. And he was, which was good. That boy needs his sleep… As do I…
Skye waved, "I don't know about you guys but we can talk in the morning, " said firiko sleepily, "not all of us are half nebulis y'know."
