Her eyes closed slowly as she got more into her thoughts, thinking over everything she would need to replace and how much each piece would cost. It was difficult with ever changing prices, but she could get a good estimate based off of what she paid the last time.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev continued cutting. I do not understand. If he knew where I was, why did he not come back for me? I am not like the others. He said i was unique. He called me… He frowned slightly. The human conundrum. I don't understand it.

@gracehustle

From what she guessed, her repairs would cost about twice to three times as much as normal, for just a few more key parts. She couldn’t hide her frustration at he fact and she pressed her eyes shut tighter, sighing and wondering where she was going to get that much money. That was about what she made out of two trips, and she couldn’t afford to go two more trips without the needed parts.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev glanced at her. "Are you alright, Thesa? Is something wrong?" He questioned, then went back to working, finishing up the second side and moving to the third. I must ask Alexi why he left me here alone for so long.

@gracehustle

“Just…costs for parts, nothing you need to worry about,” She said, floating back against the wall and opening her eyes. Her ship was her problem, and Zev didn’t need to worry about costs since he would be with Alexi after she brought him back.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded. "Alright." He went back to cutting. I do not understand humans. Clearly there is something wrong, but she says there isn't. I don't understand why. He continued working.

@gracehustle

Thesa watched him for a few moment, cutting through the glass on the third side. Her mind brought up the question of how they were going to get it over to her ship and she was silent, knowing she wasn’t going to help if it meant going out in the middle of space without being tethered to anything.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"To transport it, I am going to walk it over to your ship on the outside of the Daedalus. You can accompany or meet me there, if you." Zev said as he started on the fourth side.

@gracehustle

“I’ll meet you there,” She said immediately, her face showing her fear as she quickly looked at the floor of the ship. It wasn’t that space scared her, it was just being in space alone, with nothing holding her to something she knew so she had the chance of floating away, that’s what scared her.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded, nearly finished. "Alright." He replied, keeping his focus on the cutter, not wanting to cut himself or her by mistake.

@gracehustle

“Can I just go through the ship? Or will opening the doors suck everything into space?” She asked, looking over at the pair of doors separating the rest of the ship from where they were. Her eyes flicked to the cutter, checking as to how far he had left to cut through. This piece would be more than enough to fit the whole front of her cockpit, and any other windows she could ever need.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded. "Just make sure that this set of doors is fully closed before opening the next. The ship should do that automatically, just double-check, please." He replied, nearly finished.

@gracehustle

Thesa nodded, repeating the instructions over to herself. With not helping, she felt like this is what she could do in return, the simple task of checking if the doors were closed.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He finished cutting, holding the window carefully. "I'm going to start walking it." He said, and turned on the magnets on the boots so he wouldn't float away,then started walking outside the ship.

@gracehustle

“Don’t hurt yourself,” She called out to him, floating to the door and opening the fist set. Easy enough as she watched them close behind herself and double checked. She opened the second set and glanced at the first to make sure they were still closed as she slipped through and closed them again. Thesa then made her way through the ship as quickly as she could to help.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev kept walking carefully, keeping his hands firmly locked onto the window. He didn't want to let go, and have it float away into space. He kept walking around the outside of the Daedalus, until he arrived at Thesa's ship, where he maneuvered it towards the cockpit.

@gracehustle

She arrived out of the ship just as he was coming with the window, almost smacking into it but yelling and stopping just in time. “I’m here,” She said with a small smile, ready to help him get the window in place.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded. "Help me get it into place, and then I'll grab the sealing tools, and seal it in place." He replied, starting to move it into place, careful not to break it or hit it against anything.

@gracehustle

Thesa nodded, gently grabbing the other end of the window and helping him move it into place. She lined up her corner and left a little overhanging so they could seal it up without going onto the actual window. All she could think of was how happy she would be to go back into her ship and be able to take off to a planet. Her stuff from Zev’s ship just needed to be brought over and whatever else he wanted to bring and then as soon as this was in place they could leave.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev pressed it against the cockpit, and cut the sides with the tool, which he had brought with him, so that it would fit right. "I will grab the sealant, and then we can seal it on." He said, letting go and drifting over to the Daedalus. He came back after a few minutes with the sealant.

@gracehustle

She held it in place while he grabbed the sealant and checked again to make sure it was covering the whole opening. Her ship didn’t look nearly as nice now, with the panels still showing signs of being bent and pushed back together. The welding was noticeable too, making the whole thing look even more homemade and hastily put together than it was.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev double-checked that it was in the right spot, then started sealing it to the hull. "Once I'm done, we need to give it an hour with no pressure from the inside, so the seal can harden. Then we have to slowly bring the pressure inside your ship back to normal."

@gracehustle

“Alright; the door inside should be locked and sealed fully, it was when I last closed it. To add more pressure though one of us will have to go around to the side of my ship, get in, and manually let the pressure in.” She held the window in place as he did his job, watching and double checking that he was getting every spot as he sealed it.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded. "I understand." He replied, and continued working, going slow so as to ensure there were no accidental drips, smears, or holes left behind.

@gracehustle

For a while she just watched, seeing the technique for doing it before asking, “Do you want me to take over for a little bit?” Her arms weren’t as sore as they had been from bending panels and it looked easy enough, though she didn’t know if he didn’t want to her to do it to ensure there were no holes.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked at her. "I can do it. It is probably better that i do it, so that there are no holes or other issues." He replied as he worked. He had finished sealing one side, and was almost halfway through the second.

@gracehustle

“Ok,” She replied, rolling her shoulders and going silent once again. Doing nothing to help was driving her insane, but she did understand that he wanted to make sure the task was done right and not screwed up.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He continued to work, focusing on the seam. Unlike the paneling, if he screwed this up…Thesa would die. Which wouldn't be very good. He was surprised to find that he was beginning to have a similar attachment to her that he had to Alexi. He didn't want her to leave.

@gracehustle

Thesa looked around and continued holding the panel in place, even though it was secure with the sealant and they were is space after all. It made her feel like she was doing something, or at least there Incase Zev needed a break or more tools. He was an android though, and her mind kept reminding her that he didn’t need breaks unless his suit malfunctioned.

@ElderGod-Icefire

His left wrist clicked and jerked, and he pulled back the sealant just in time to stop himself from creating a ragged spray across the glass with it. He sighed softly. "Damn." He muttered, hitting his wrist against his leg.
