"It works against arrows.." said Firiko, "I'd say that unless the bullet was made of black iron, or merika, then yeah.. it'd work.." he said, thinking through the shield spell for a moment.

“Good. I want you to stay safe.” He smiled softly. “Would you like bacon and eggs for breakfast?”
"Sounds great!" he said, realizing he was actually really hungry.

Firiko sighed at the last part, but but nodded reluctantly. He didn't like not being able to move. Expecially when he was used to moving constantly.

“I’m serious. Don’t hurt yourself.” He said, moving to the kitchen to start cooking.
"I'm not going to hurt myself!" He said, pretending to be insulted, when really he was touched that the other cared so much.

“I still worry.” He called back.
It only took him a few minutes to cook the food. He didn’t have to cook much, just enough for him and the other. He carried the plates to the bedroom and sighed as he entered, his shoulders slouching. “Here, eat.” He ordered, offering the plate to Firiko. Firiko’s plate was piled with more food.”
Firiko watched him come back, he noticed the food difference, and frownd slightly, but he didn't bother saying anythjng, promising himself he would if he saw it again. Carefully he took it. "Thanks.." he said shyly.

Marcus nodded, flashing a small smile. He laid down and began to eat, closing his eyes for awhile. “I hope it’s alright. I gave you more because I was worried about you eating. You don’t have to eat it all if you don’t want to.”
"It's okay, but don't starve yourself on my account.." he said softly, digging in.the

“I won’t, soulmate.” He winked. “I eat plenty.”
Firiko blushed a little at that, but smiled and went back to eating.

Marcus watched Firiko for a moment, he himself nibbling in a piece of bacon. He felt a strange kind of affection towards the halfblood. He hadn’t ever really felt love but if he had to describe what it was, he’d say it was exactly what he felt.
Firiko munched on his share contentedly, as much as he didn't like being injured he did like being with the other.

Marcus suddenly slid over to kiss his cheek. “You’re cute, you know that right?”
Firiko blushed, looking over at him, "Uhm.. yeah…"

“You are. I’m glad I found you.” He smiled softly.
Firiko nodded, "Yeah… especially in my situation.."

“Especially in your condition.” He murmured, eating some of his food.
Firiko sighed, going back to eating, "I hate being grounded.."

“It must be awful.” He murmured and kissing his cheek.
"Lets just say that is makes my wings more annoying than usual, cause if one's injured they're bother pretty much useless…" he said with a quiet huff, finding this to be a very annoying predicament.

Marcus laughed softly. “I’ll help you heal. I’m goimg to make sure you’re healed well too.”
Firiko gave him a grateful look, before finishing off his breakfast.

The human sighed softly, smiling happily.
Firiko leaned back, "Thanks again.. for helping me.."

"No problem. I can't just leave someone who is hurt. I know what its like to be so helpless and hurt and have nobody to help you." He murmured/
"I wouldn't say helpless." Huffed Firiko, still trying to preserve his ego.
