Firiko smiled, nuzzling into his chest.
Anyone up for romance?
group
Marcus felt his heart rate pick up. This male was just his type.
Firiko smiled, hugging him tightly.
group
“Thank you for staying.” He mumbled, closing his eyes.
"Thanks for letting me…" said Firiko.
group
“I can’t just turn away an injured person. And I definitely can’t turn away my soulmate. If I don’t catch you now I might never get to you again”
Firiko smiled, "I think I'm already falling in love…"
group
Marcus grinned, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Me too. I’ve fallen in love with you.”
Firiko giggled, pressing closer to him.
group
Marcus grinned, burying his face in the other’s neck.
Firiko hummed happily, yawning again tiredly.
group
“Let’s sleep… I’m rather tired and you need rest to heal. I’m not going to let you get up as much. Not until your side starts to heal.” He warned, his breath hot against the other’s neck. “I’ll take careful of you as much as I can. I’ve made enough from the gang to live on my own for another ten years but I still need to find another job. I'll be in and out of the house.”
Firiko nodded, to tired to really think about it right then as he started to drift off.
group
Marcus soon followed after, his eyes slipping shut as he dozed.
Firiko sank ot into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in the other's arms.
group
Marcus was soon dreaming of happy things for the first time in a long while. Usually he stayed up late, his addiction kicking in and howling to be fed.
(Skip??)
Firiko allowed himself to slip into a deep sleep for the first time in a long while, used to curling up in tight and uncomfortable places for safety as he dozed, never truly allowing himself to sleep.
(Yeah)
group
(Okay, next morning? And I’ll start)
(Sounds good!)
group
(Alrighty! Sorry for the wait, I had to run to the store)
Marcus was already up and awake in the early hours of the morning. He had to slip outside for a drink of water when his nicotine withdrawals became too much to handle. He had taken pain meds and settled back into the bed with Firiko, holding him close while his head throbbed. He needed nicotine badly but he wouldn’t let himself have any.
He distracted himself by staring at his new soulmate, blinking slowly and wondering what kind of life he had lived.
(No worries! Thanks for coming back!)
Firiko slept quietly, though he was close to waking anyway. Fjnally he yawned, stirring sleepily as he slowly recounted yesterday's events before letting himself react to anything. Fjnally he turned to look up at his soulmate with a mixture of wonder and curiosity. Wondering how he had gone from lone rogue, to injured soulmate.

(Np np! I like this rp)
Marcus blinked, surprised to see his other half awake. “Good morning… how are you?” He asked in a hoarse, sleepy voice. He didn’t feel to well himself, his depressive thoughts raging in his head along with the massive withdrawal headache.
(Me too, gives me a chance to explore a severely underused character)
Firiko smiled, "I'm okay… a bit sore though…" he said, twisting onto his back to try and give his wing some relief. "What about you?" He asked softly, his own voice a bit softer from sleep.
group
(Ahaha Nice)
Marcus paused for a moment. “I’m alright.” He lied. “Got up to get a drink in the middle of the night but that’s about it.”
"You sure?" Asked Firiko, watching the other's eyes carefully. He didn't want to pry, but he did want to get to know his soulmate.
group
He nodded half-heartedly. “Just a little bit of a headache.”
Firiko frowned slightly at that, but nodded. He waited a few more moments, before finally moving to sit up. He was halfway there when he stopped, letting out a hiss of pain.
group
Marcus immediately pushed him back down, shaking his head. “Don’t get up. I’ll help you sit up but I don’t want you standing. Stay here.”
Firiko huffed, but didn't resist too much, realizing that he was in no position to do so. "I'm fine okay? Just stiff…" he said softly, in an attempt to salvage his self pride.
group
“You’re hurt. Don’t be prideful. It’s ok to be weak.” He told the other sternly, sitting up and prepping a few pillows for the other to lean against. He slowly helped Firiko sit up, resting his back against the pillows. “There.”
