Who beat him every day. He was sick of it.
He was running, until he ran into a girl, falling onto her with a yelp.
Sadira promptly dropped her books and fell to the forest floor, getting the wind knocked out of her. The dude was heavy, and she struggled to get out from beneath him.

Alex flushed, embarrassed. "S-Sorry miss!" He stuttered, helping her up and picking the books up, his glasses falling onto his nose.
Sadira frowned. There was mud on her dress, and she didn't like being dirty.
"Thanks," she murmured, taking her books back and gathering them into her arms.

Alex chuckled nervously, before looking around. "Were you studying nature?" He asked, noticing the dirt on her dress before he cleaned it off, with his hand.
Ah… Dad's gonna be pissed.
"I was heading for the river." She clutched her books to her chest, suddenly uncomfortable as he brushed the mud off.
